코로나19를 경험한 보육교사의 인식과 실천 및 제안에 대한 질적 탐구

A qualitative inquiry into the perceptions, practices and suggestions of chidcare teachers who have experienced COVID-19

본 연구는 코로나로 어린이집 보육교사가 인식한 총체적 어려움과 실천 방법을 제시하여, 포스트 코로나를 대비하는 방안을 질적으로 탐구하는 것을 목적으로 한다. 이를 위해 심층면담, 연구자 저널, 문서 및 동영상 자료를 수집하여 분석한 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 보육교사가 인식한 어려움으로 영유아 언어와 사회성 발달 부진의 해결점을 모색하는 데 한계가 있었고, 부모협조가 부족했으며, 추가된 업무와 스트레스에 소진되어 보육 공백을 우려했다. 둘째, 보육교사가 실천한 방법으로 보육교사는 코로나 대응지침의 실행과 외부지원 없이 어린이집 행사를 전담했다. 그리고 코로나 예방캠페인을 위한 동영상 제작과 부모교육을 했으며, 긴급보육을 실천했다. 셋째, 보육교사가 제안한 방안으로 보육교사는 유치원과 어린이집에 대한 관리·감독 일원화를 제안했다는 것이다. 그리고 아동 보건을 담당할 전담부서의 신설을 제기했으며 온라인 보육프로그램의 개발을 제시했다. 본 연구의 시사점은 거시적 측면에서 정책적으로 관리·감독 일원화의 필요성을 제시하고, 복지적으로 아동보건에 대한 사회적 인식을 강조했으며 교육적으로 온라인 보육의 필요성을 제안한 것이다.

This study was a qualitative inquiry of the proposed method to prepare for post-corona through the overall difficulties and practice methods recognized by childcare teachers in daycare centers due to corona. The results of the analysis are as follows. First, as the difficulties that childcare teachers recognized, childcare teachers had limitations in finding solutions to poor language and social development of infants, lacked parental cooperation, and were exhausted from added work and stress, which caused them to worry about the childcare vacuum. Second, as the methods practiced by childcare teachers, childcare teachers implemented the corona prevention guideline and were dedicated to the daycare center events. Additionally, they also produced videos for the corona prevention campaign, did parent education and practiced emergency childcare. Third, as the solutions proposed by childcare teachers, childcare teachers suggested unification of management and supervision as well as things that need policy institutionalization.. In addition, it raised the necessity of establishing a safety organization for child health and suggested the development of online childcare programs. The implications of this study are macroscopically, suggesting the need for unification of management & supervision from a policy point of view, emphasizing social awareness of child health in terms of welfare, and suggesting the need for online childcare in terms of education.
