그림책을 활용한 부모교육 프로그램에 대한 국내연구 동향분석

Trend Analysis of Parenting Education Programs Using Picture Books in Korea

본 연구는 국내에서 이루어진 그림책을 활용한 부모교육 프로그램의 연구 동향을 살펴보기 위해 2000∼2022년 사이에 발간된 학술지 논문 32편, 학위논문 25편을 분석하였다. 국내에서 시행되어온 그림책을 활용한 부모교육 프로그램은 유아기 부모를 대상으로 한 경우가 가장 많았고, ‘독서치료’와 ‘상호작용’이 논문의 키워드로 가장 빈번하게 나타났다. 연구참여자는 대부분 ‘어머니’였고, 대면 방식의 ‘강의’와 ‘실습’이 주로 진행되고 있었다. 프로그램 개발을 위해 선행연구 고찰, 전문가 자문과 같은 방법을 중복하여 사용하고, ‘연구자’가 직접 프로그램을 실시하는 경우가 대다수였다. 프로그램의 교육기간은 ‘6주 이상∼15주 미만’, 교육횟수는 ‘6회 이상∼10회 미만’, 교육시간은 ‘10시간 이상∼15시간 미만’이 가장 많았다. 이러한 부모교육은 부모와 자녀의 사회·정서, 언어·인지적 측면, 부모역할에 대한 인식 및 양육태도, 그림책에 대한 인식과 활용에 긍정적인 영향을 미쳤고, 부모-자녀 관계와 상호작용의 증진에 도움을 주는 것으로 밝혀졌다. 이러한 분석을 토대로 앞으로의 그림책 부모교육 프로그램과 연구가 나아가야 할 방향을 구체적으로 제시하였다.

To analyze the research trends of parent education programs using picture books made in Korea, this study analyzed 32 journal papers and 25 degree theses published between 2000 and 2022. Parent education programs using picture books, which are being implemented in Korea, mostly deal with parents from the preschool period. The most common keywords for the program were ‘bibliotherapy’ and ‘interaction’. Most of the research participants in the program were mothers. Education and practice were mainly conducted through face-to-face lectures. In most cases, two or more methods were used for the program development, and the researcher conducted the program directly. The most frequent case was that the training period of the program was ‘6 weeks or more-less than 15 weeks’ the number of training sessions was ‘6 times or more-less than 10 times weeks,’ and the training time was from more than 10 hours to less than 15 hours. The programs helped the parents and children with social, emotional, linguistic and cognitive aspects. In addition, it had a positive effect on the perception of parental roles and parenting attitudes and on the perception and use of picture books. It was also found to help promote parent-child relationships and interactions. Based on this, the direction for future research is presented in detail.
