교사 및 교사교육 관련 유아 환경교육 연구 동향 분석

Analysis of Research Trend on Early Childhood Environmental Education Related to Teacher and Teacher Education

본 연구는 교사 및 교사교육 관련 유아 환경교육 연구 동향을 살펴봄으로써 추후 유아 환경교육을 위한 교사연구의 방향성을 탐색하고자 수행되었다. 이를 위해 1998년부터 2021년까지 발표된 국내 학술지 논문 205편을 대상으로 연구시기, 연구대상, 연구방법, 연구주제 및 내용, 교사교육 접근방법, 교수전략을 분석하였다. 그 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 연구시기는 2014-2017년에 70편으로 가장 많은 연구가 이루어졌으며 최근에는 연구편수가 감소하였다. 둘째, 연구대상은 현직교사 연구가 예비유아교사에 비해 4배 정도 더 많이 이루어졌다. 셋째, 연구방법은 양적연구는 조사연구, 질적연구는 면담 등을 활용한 일반적인 질적연구방법이 주로 이루어졌다. 넷째, 연구주제는 생태교육 관련 주제가 가장 많이 이루어졌으며 2011년에 지속가능발전, 녹색성장교육 등 새로운 주제로 확대되었다. 다섯째, 교사교육 접근방법은 현장방문(체험)이 2002년부터 지속적으로 이루어졌다. 여섯째, 교수전략은 강의 및 강연, 토의·협의, 실습, 워크샵 등이 주로 활용되었으며 예비교사 대상 연구가 현직교사에 비해 더 다양한 교수전략이 활용되고 있었다. 본 연구결과를 토대로 교사 및 교사교육 유아 환경교육 연구 방향을 위한 시사점을 제안하였다.

This study explored the direction of teacher and teacher education research for early childhood environment education in the future by examining the research trends of teacher-related early childhood environment education. To this end, 205 domestic journal papers published from 1998 to 2021 were analyzed for research period, research subject, research method, research topic and content, teacher education approach, and teaching strategy. The results are as follows. First, according to the research period, 70 studies were conducted in 2014-2017, and the number of studies has recently decreased. Second, in terms of research subjects, teachers were about four times more researched compared to pre-service teachers. Third, general qualitative research methods using interviews and quantitative research using survey were mainly conducted. Fourth, the most frequent research topic was related to ecological education, and in 2011, it was expanded to new topics such as sustainable development. Fifth, as for the teacher education approach, field visiting and experiences have been continuously conducted since 2002. Sixth, teaching strategies mainly used lectures, discussions, practice, and workshops, and more diverse teaching strategies were used in the research on pre-service teachers. Based on these results, this study proposes implications for the direction of research on early childhood environmental education for teachers and teacher education.
