유치원 내 교사 동아리 활동이 유아교사의 심리적 안녕감 및 직무만족도에 미치는 영향

The Effect of Club Activities in a Kindergarten on Psychological Well-being and Job Satisfaction of Teachers

본 연구는 유치원 내 교사 동아리 활동이 유아교사의 심리적 안녕감과 직무만족도에 미치는 영향을 알아보고자 하였다. 이를 위해 경기도 G시의 사립유치원에 재직하고 있는 교사 41명을 실험집단과 통제집단으로 배치하고, 실험집단을 대상으로 주 1회 10주간 유치원 내 교사 동아리 활동을 진행하였다. 본 활동이 유아교사의 심리적 안녕감과 직무만족도에 어떠한 영향을 미치는지 파악하기 위해 활동 전과 후에 실험집단과 통제집단 교사의 심리적 안녕감과 직무만족도를 측정하고 그 결과를 독립표본 t-검증과 공분산분석(ANCOVA)로 분석하여 차이를 확인하였다. 연구 결과 첫째, 유치원 내 교사 동아리 활동에 참여한 실험집단의 심리적 안녕감 사후 점수 사후 점수 총점 및 각 하위요인의 점수가 통제집단에 비해 통계적으로 유의하게 향상되었다. 둘째, 유치원 내 교사 동아리 활동에 참여한 실험집단의 직무만족도 사후 점수 총점 및 각 하위요인의 점수가 통제집단에 비해 통계적으로 유의하게 향상되었다. 이러한 결과는 유치원 내 유아교사의 동아리 활동을 활성화하기 위한 노력이 필요함을 의미한다.

This study investigated the effect of teacher club activities in kindergartens on the psychological well-being and job satisfaction of early childhood teachers. To this end, 41 teachers working at private kindergartens in G-city, Gyeonggi-do were assigned to the experimental and control groups, and teacher club activities in the kindergartens were conducted once a week for 10 weeks. To understand how this activity affects the psychological well-being and job satisfaction of early childhood teachers, the psychological well-being and job satisfaction of teachers in the experimental and control groups were measured before and after the activities, and the results were analyzed by Independent Sample t-test and Analysis of Covariance(ANCOVA). The results of hisstudyshow that first, the total score and score of each sub-factor of the psychological well-being of the experimental group who participated in the teacher club activities in the kindergartens improved statistically significantly compared to the control group. Second, the total score and the score of each sub-factor of job satisfaction of the experimental group who participated in the teacher club activities in the kindergartens statistically significantly improved compared to the control group. These results mean that efforts are needed to revitalize the club activities of early childhood teachers in kindergartens.
