한국어교육학 영역의 운영 사례연구 방법에 대한 일고찰

Study on the Method of Operation Case Studies in the field of Korean Language Education

본고의 목적은 한국어교육학 분야에서 이루어진 사례연구 중 운영 사례를 연구 대상으로 한 논문의 방법론적 특징을 파악하고 반성적으로 고찰해 봄으로써 한국어교육 운영 사례연구의 방법론적 전문성 제고 방안을 제시하는 데에 있다. 한국어교육 기관, 교육과정, 각종 프로그램 등을 운영한 사례를 대상으로 한 논문들 19편의 연구방법론적 특징을 연구 대상과 방법 측면으로 나누어 분석하였다. 연구 결과 대부분의 운영 사례연구는 사례연구에서 의미하는 ‘사례’ 를 연구 대상으로 설정하고는 있으나 시간, 장소, 맥락을 두껍게 기술함으로써 ‘사례’를 명확하게 한계 짓는 데에 부족함을 드러내었다. 또한 대부분의 운영 사례연구가 다양한 자료를 제시하고자 노력하였으나 자료 수집의 방법을 명시적으로 기술하고 자료를 전문적인 방법으로 분석하는 데에 부족함을 드러내었고 연구 절차를 상세하게 기술한 논문이 드물었으며 참여자 확인과 동료 검토를 수행한 논문은 전무하였다.

The purpose of this study is to suggest ways to improve methodological expertise in Korean language education operation case studies by identifying and reflectively examining the methodological characteristics of papers that focus on operational cases among case studies conducted in the field of Korean language education. It is in The research methodological characteristics of 19 papers targeting cases of operation of Korean language education institutions, curriculum, and various programs were analyzed by dividing them into research subjects and methods. As a result of the study, it was revealed that most operational case studies set the ‘case’ as the research object, but are insufficient in clearly defining the ‘case’ by describing the time, place, and context in detail. In addition, although most operational case studies attempted to present a variety of data, they were found to be lacking in explicitly describing the data collection method and analyzing the data in a professional manner, and there were few papers that described the research procedure in detail, and there were few participants. There were no papers that underwent verification and peer review.
