The Direction of Art Education as Education of Creativity and Imagination

현재의 인공지능 시대 예술을 둘러싼 문제를 살피기 위해서는 모든 분야에서 새로운 인식과 논의가 필요하지만 예술이란 무엇인가 하는 근원적인 질문과 함께 미술교육에서 창의성과 상상력에 대한 연구가 재검토되어야 할 것이다. 초등학교 저학년에서 미술의 위축에 직면한 현재, 학교교육에서 미술의 역할은 무엇인가에 대해 깊게 논의되어야 하며 이는 미술에서의 창의성과 상상력의 문제를 중심으로 다룰 수 있다. 본 연구에서는 상상력과의 관계를 중심으로 미술교육에서의 창의성은 무엇인가에 대해 표현 활동을 중심으로 다룬다. 타 영역과 구별되는 미술만의 교육적 의의에 대해 표현 활동과 창의성을 중심으로 살펴본 연구의 결과, 첫째, 목적의식에 대한 관점으로서 문제 제기 능력, 둘째, 물질에 대한 탐구 및 활동의 과정, 셋째, 예술적 환영의 시각화로서 인지와 감정, 경험과 기억으로 시각적 공간적 세계를 지각하는 공간 능력으로 파악할 수 있다. 추상적인 것을 구체적인 것으로 만드는 시각화 능력, 시각적 공간적 아이디어를 물질에 대한 감각을 통해 표현하는 과정에서 발휘되는 능력, 자신과 공간의 관계를 파악하는 능력 등으로 나타나는 조형예술이자 공간예술로서 미술 표현은 새로움과 자율성을 전제로 하는 창의성과 깊게 관계된다. 현재 학교 미술교육의 정상화를 위해 창의성 교육의 관점으로 미술교육의 과제와 방향성에 대한 논의가 제기되어야 한다.

In this contemporary era, new perceptions and discussions are needed in all fields to look at the problems surrounding art, I believe, discussions on creativity and imagination are necessary above all else. If we look at art from the perspective of today, what is art can be defined? This can be dealt with focusing on questions such as what is the meaning of creativity and how creativity and imagination in art relate to education. This study deals with creativity in art education, especially in expression activities, focusing on the relationship with imagination. In order to explore the educational meaning of art that distinguishes art from other areas, especially when looking at the perspective of creativity in expression activities, it first requires a sense of purpose, that is, the ability to raise problems. It must also be conscious as a process of exploring and activities for material. And as a visualization of artistic illusion, it is necessary to be aware of the spatial ability to perceive the visual and spatial world with cognition and emotions, experiences and memories. as thinking ability to create abstract things such as visual and spatial ideas. As a perspective of creativity education, discussions and direction of art education should be raised in order to the current school art education.
