대학생의 학습지원 프로그램 참여가 능동적 학습활동에 미치는 영향: I대학을 중심으로

Effects of Engagement in Learning Support Programs on Active Learning Practices: Focusing on I University

본 연구는 대학생의 학습지원 프로그램 참여 여부가 학생들의 능동적 학습활동에 미치는 영향을 실증적으로 분석하여 대학 차원에서 적용할 수 있는 시사점을 제시하는 것을 목적으로 한다. 이를 위해 한국교육개발원이 개발하고 수집한 「대학 교수·학습과정에 관한 학생 설문조사」의 수도권 소재 4년제 I대학교의 재학생을 연구 대상으로 964명의 자료를 분석에 활용하였다. 본 연구의 종속변인은 능동적 학습활동이며, 관심 독립변인은 학습지원 프로그램 참여를 활용하였으며, 독립변인이 종속변인에 미치는 영향을 면밀하게 확인하고자 인구통계학적 변인과 학습경험 변인을 통제하여 다중 회귀분석을 실시하였다. 본 연구의 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 인구통계학적 변인을 통제한 모형 1에서 학업성취도, 자발적 학습시간, 휴학·자퇴 계획이 능동적 학습활동에 유의미한 영향을 미쳤다. 둘째, 학습경험을 통제한 모형 2에서 자발적 학습시간과 학습경험의 모든 변인이 유의미한 영향을 미쳤다. 셋째, 모형 2에 학습지원 프로그램 참여를 투입한 모형 3에서 학년, 자발적 학습시간, 교수-학생 상호작용, 전공수업만족, 도전적 학습경험, 학습지원 프로그램 참여가 유의미한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 이와 같은 결과를 토대로 연구의 논의와 시사점을 밝혔다.

This study empirically examines the impact of participation in academic support programs on students' active learning practices, offering insights for university-level application. A sample of 964 undergraduate students from a Korean 4-year university was analyzed using data from the Korean Educational Development Institute’s 「NASEL: National Assessment of Student Engagement in Learning」. Active learning practices were the dependent variable, with participation in learning support programs as the key independent variable. Multiple regression analysis was performed, controlling for demographic and learning experience factors. Results showed that academic achievement, voluntary study time, and future plans influenced active learning in Model 1, learning experience factors had significant effects in Model 2, and participation in support programs, along with grade level, faculty interaction, major satisfaction, and challenging experiences, impacted active learning in Model 3. The study concludes with a discussion of these findings and their implications.
