본 연구의 목적은 감사와 자살사고의 관계에서 긍정반추와 기본심리욕구의 이중매개효과를 검증하는데 있다.. 본 연구는 감사, 자살사고, 긍정반추, 기본심리욕구에 관한 온라인 설문을 실시하였고, 317명의 자료를 분석하였다. 주요 변인들의 관련성을 보기 위해 기술통계 및 상관분석을 실시하였고, 이중매개효과를 검증하기 위해 SPSS Macro 부트스트래핑(bootstrapping) 방법을 적용하였다. 본 연구의 주요 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 감사는 자살사고에 부적 영향을 미쳤다. 둘째, 감사와 자살사고의 관계에서 긍정반추가 부분 매개하였다. 셋째, 감사와 자살사고의 관계에서 기본심리욕구가 부분 매개하였다. 넷째, 감사와 자살사고의 관계에서 긍정반추와 기본심리욕구의 이중매개효과를 보였다. 이러한 결과를 중심으로 자살사고를 감소시키기 위해서는 감사수준을 높이고 보호요인으로서 긍정반추와 기본심리욕구의 중요함을 시사하였다. 본연구의 논의와 제한점 및 추후연구를 위한 제언을 논의하였다.
The purpose of this study is to examine the dual mediating effects of positive rumination and basic psychological needs in the relationship between gratitude and suicidal ideation. An online survey assessing gratitude, suicidal ideation, positive rumination, and basic psychological needs was conducted, with data from 317 participants analyzed. Descriptive statistics and correlation analysis were used to explore the relationships among the main variables, and the SPSS Macro bootstrapping method was applied to verify the dual mediating effects. The main findings of this study are as follows: First, gratitude had a negative impact on suicidal ideation. Second, positive rumination partially mediated the relationship between gratitude and suicidal ideation. Third, basic psychological needs also partially mediated the relationship between gratitude and suicidal ideation. Fourth, a dual mediating effect of positive rumination and basic psychological needs as identified in the relationship between gratitude and suicidal ideation. These results underscore the importance of enhancing gratitude and acknowledging the protective roles of positive rumination and basic psychological needs in reducing suicidal ideation. The discussion, limitations, and recommendations for future research are also presented.
