일본 연구개발학교의 초등 통합교육과정에 관한 교사의 경험에 관한 연구

A Study on the Teacher's Experience in the Elementary Integrated Curriculum in R&D School in Japan

이 연구는 일본 H초등학교 교육과정 개발 및 운영 과정 경험이 있는 연구 참여자의 경험에 관한 이야기를 통해 실질적인 현황, 어려움, 과제를 알아보는데 목적을 두고 있다. 이를 위해 전자문헌과 H초등학교 주최 연구발표회의 참여관찰 및 연구실천 현장 속의 수업 관찰을 하였다. 이 자료를 바탕으로 해당 학교 교사 3명을 대상으로 심층 면담을 시행하였고, 이렇게 수집한 심층면담 자료는 개방코딩으로 참여자의 의미를 추출하여 의미있는 결과를 추출하였다. 이 과정에 멤버체킹, 상각검증법을 통한 연구의 신뢰성과 타당성 확보를 위한 노력을 기울였다. 연구결과 통합교육과정 개발 및 통합교육과정의 필요성과 방향, 통합교육과정 개발 및 운영 과정, 평가 기준 편성 과정, 통합교육과정 성과, 통합교육과정 저해 요인으로 구분하여 제시하였다. 논의 결과 개발한 교육과정과 수업의 지속적 개선, 학교 내․외의 교사와 그 외 교육관계자들과의 협력체제 구축, 학습효과에 따른 교육현장에서의 확산․보급 등이 요청되었다. 그 결과 삶에 활용할 수 있는 통합교육과정의 미래교육에 적합성, 아동에 맞는 통합교육과정 편성을 위한 국가교육과정 내용의 양 조절 필요, 통합교육과정 개발 사례 정보 공유의 미흡 등에 대한 대처가 필요하였다.

The purpose of this study is to investigate the practical status, difficulties, and tasks through stories about the experiences of research participants who have experience in the process of developing and operating the curriculum of H Elementary School in Japan. To this end, participation in electronic literature and research presentations hosted by H Elementary School and class observation in the field of research practice were conducted. Based on this data, in-depth interviews were conducted with three teachers at the school, and the in-depth interview data collected in this way extracted meaningful results by extracting the meaning of the participants with open coding. In this process, efforts were made to secure the reliability and validity of the research through member checking and amortization verification. As a result of the study, the necessity and direction of the integrated curriculum development and operation of the integrated curriculum, the process of organizing evaluation criteria, the process of integrated curriculum performance, and the factors that hinder the integrated curriculum were presented. As a result of the discussion, it was requested to continuously improve the curriculum and classes developed, establish a cooperative system with teachers inside and outside the school, and spread and dissemination in the educational field according to the learning effect. As a result, it was necessary to cope with the suitability of the integrated curriculum for future education that can be used for life, the need to adjust the amount of national curriculum content to organize an integrated curriculum suitable for children, and the lack of information sharing on the development of integrated curriculum.
