Action Reseach to develop KDB core competenecy improvement program

본 연구에서는 KDB 통합단원 설계방법과 실행연구 방법의 개념을 알아보고, KDB 통합단원 설계방법과 실행연구를 활용하여 핵심역량을 증진할 수 있는 교육프로그램을 개발하는 과정과, 그에 따른 교수⦁학습안을 제시하는데 연구의 목적이 있다. 본 연구에서 제안한 핵심역량 증진 교육프로그램의 특징은 첫째, 초등학교 교실에서 사용하는 교육 프로그램은 1회적으로 설계하고 실행하여, 단편적으로 설계하기 쉬우나, 본연구에서는 실행연구 방법을 활용하여 3년 동안 개선하여 설계하였다. 둘째, 핵심역량 증진 교육프로그램의 교수⦁학습안은 인성, 지식, 기능의 요인을 중심으로 KDB 통합단원으로 설계하였다. 셋째, 핵심역량 증진 교육프로그램은 ‘감독 및 PD’, ‘작가’, ‘기자 및 아나운서’의 3가지 진로 주제를 중심으로 교육활동을 설계하였다. 이상과 같이 설계한 핵심역량 증진 교육프로그램의 효과성을 검증하고, 개선하기 위해서 3년에 걸쳐서 6학년과 5학년 학생을 대상으로 운영하였다. 참여한 학생을 대상으로 핵심역량 검사지를 이용하여 능력을 수치화하여 분석하였다. 그리고 학생을 대상으로 설문조사와 인터뷰를 수행하여 운영과정에서 개선사항을 찾고, 수정하였다. 본 연구에서 설계한 핵심역량 증진 교육 프로그램은 하나의 예시이다. 교사는 학교 환경과 학부모의 협조, 학생의 적성과 능력, 태도 및 교실환경등을 고려하여, 새로운 주제를 중심으로 재구성할 수 있을 것이다.

This study aims to explore the concepts of the KDB Integrated Unit Design Method and action research, and to develop an educational program that enhances core competencies using these approaches, while also presenting corresponding teaching and learning plans. The features of the core competency enhancement educational program proposed in this study are as follows: First, unlike typical educational programs used in elementary school classrooms, which are often designed and implemented as one-off lessons, this study employed the action research method to iteratively improve and design the program over three years. Second, the teaching and learning plans for the core competency enhancement program were designed as KDB integrated units, focusing on the factors of character, knowledge, and skills. Third, the educational activities of the core competency enhancement program were structured around three career themes: ‘Director and Producer,’ ‘Writer,’ and ‘Reporter and Announcer.’ To verify and improve the effectiveness of the core competency enhancement program designed in this manner, it was implemented over three years with 5th and 6th grade students. The participating students’ abilities were quantified and analyzed using a core competency assessment tool. Additionally, surveys and interviews were conducted to identify areas for improvement during the implementation process, and the program was modified accordingly. The core competency enhancement educational program developed in this study serves as an example. Teachers can reconstruct it around new themes, considering the school environment, parental cooperation, students’ aptitudes and abilities, attitudes, and the classroom setting.
