유아교육기관에서의 유아 창의성 교육에 대한 교사의 경험 탐색

A Study on Exploring Teacher’s Experiences with Early Childhood Creativity Education in Early Childhood Education Institutions

본 연구는 유아 창의성 교육에 대한 유아교사들의 경험을 탐색하고자 실시되었다. 연구의 목적을 달성하기 위하여 대학원에서 유아 창의성 교육을 수강하고 있는 학생들의 저널을 수집하고 유아교사 7인을 면담하였다. 면담 자료는 전사하여 근거이론에 따라 개방코딩, 축코딩, 선택코딩의 방법을 거쳐 반복적으로 읽으며 말뭉치와 핵심어를 중심으로 내용을 정제하였다. 연구 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 놀이중심 교육과정을 실행하는 과정에서 유아들의 상상력, 유창성, 정교성, 융통성, 독창성, 호기심과 몰입 등 창의성 요소가 포함되는 것으로 나타났다. 반면 놀이중심 교육과정에서 창의성 교육의 딜레마도 나타났다. 둘째, 교사는 창의성 교육을 위해 적절한 개입과 개방적 태도를 갖추는 것이 중요하며 창의성 교수역량이 필요한 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 창의성 교육환경의 한계로 학급당 많은 유아로 구성된 교실환경과 학습결과 및 성과지향의 교육문화가 제시되었다. 본 연구 결과는 추후 유아교육기관에서의 유아 창의성 교육을 내실화하고 교사 지원을 위한 기초자료를 활용될 수 있을 것이다.

This study was conducted to explore the experiences of early childhood teachers regarding early childhood creativity education. To achieve the purpose of this study, journals of students receiving early childhood creativity education at graduate school were collected, and 7 early childhood teachers were interviewed. The interview data were transcribed and read repeatedly through open coding, axial coding, and selective coding according to grounded theory, and the content was refined with a focus on corpus and keywords. First, in the process of carrying out a play-centered curriculum, it has been shown that creativity elements such as imagination, fluency, sophistication, flexibility, originality, curiosity and immersion are included in young children. On the other hand, the dilemma of creativity education also appeared in the play-centered curriculum. Second, in terms of the importance of teachers in creativity education, it was found that it is important to have teachers' appropriate intervention and open attitude, and that creativity teaching skills are needed. Third, a limitation of the creative education environment was a classroom with many young children per class, and learning results, and performance-oriented educational culture were presented. The results of this study can be able to be used as basic data to substantiate and activate early childhood creativity education in the future.
