테크놀로지 활용 보육콘텐츠 개발 수업에 대한 예비보육교사의 인식: 프로젝트 기반 학습 경험을 중심으로

Perception of Pre-Service Childcare Teachers Regarding Developing Childcare Media Content Using Technology: Focusing on Project-based Learning Experience

본 연구는 예비보육교사를 대상으로 테크놀로지 자아효능감, 내용지식을 증진시키기 위해 테크놀로지 활용 보육콘텐츠 제작 프로젝트 기반 학습을 실행하고, 학습결과(테크놀로지 자아효능감, 인지된 학습결과)를 살펴보고, 수업의 장점 및 개선점에 대해 확인하는 것을 목적으로 한다. 이를 위해 아동보육학과 학생 11명 중 설문조사를 성실하게 완료한 9명, 면담참여자 6인의 자료를 분석하였다. 연구결과, 학습결과 측면에서 테크놀로지 자아효능감과 인지된 학습결과가 높은 것으로 나타났다. 수업의 장점 및 개선점의 측면에서 만족도가 높게 나타났으며, 새로운 학습방식이 좋았으며 창의성에 도움이 되었다고 응답하였다. 개선점으로는 진행 상황에 대한 학습지원, 저작권과 관련된 정보가 필요함을 언급하였다. 본 연구결과를 바탕으로 예비보육교사 대상 테크놀로지 활용 과제 제공의 필요성, 프로젝트 기반 학습에서 학습자 간 협력 기회의 제공, 학습내용과 기술을 현장과 연계하는 것을 통한 이론과 실천의 간극 완화, 정보의 선별을 통한 콘텐츠 개발 기술 교육의 필요성에 대해 논의하였다. 본 연구는 테크놀로지 활용 프로젝트 기반 학습에 관한 구체적 사례를 제공하였으며, 테크놀로지 활용 보육 콘텐츠 개발 경험은 테크놀로지 자아효능감 향상에 효과적으로 활용될 수 있음을 시사한다.

This study inverstigated pre-service childcare teachers’ perception on the experience of developing childcare contents using technology focused on the learning outcomes (technology self-efficacy & perceived learning outcomes) and the advantages and limitations of the classes. Data from 9 out of 11 participants majoring in Childcare and Education who completed surveys and insights from 6 interviewees were analyzed. The results showed a high-level score in technology self-efficacy and perceived learning outcomes. Moreover, participants reported high levels of satisfaction acknowledging the effectiveness of the new learning methods in fostering creativity. However, participants also highlighted certain limitations, such as the need for additional learning support on monitoring and information about copyright issues. Based on these findings, we discussed the need for providing tasks related to technology utilization, providing collaborative learning opportunities in project-based learning, bridging the gap between theory and practice through the integration of learning content and skills with real-world applications, and the necessity of education on the content development using technology based on information filtering skills. This study provides a specific case of project-based learning using technology for pre-service teachers, and the effectiveness of developing childcare media content using technology in project-based learning for improving technology self-efficacy of pre-service childcare teachers.
