아버지의 양육참여도가 유아의 놀이성 및 어린이집 적응에 미치는 영향 - 경주·포항시를 중심으로 -

Father's Child-Rearing Involvement Effects on Children's Playfulness and Adjustment to Daycare Center - Focusing on Gyeongju and Pohang -

본 연구의 목적은 아버지 양육 참여도가 유아의 놀이성 및 어린이집 적응에 미치는 영향을 살펴보는 것이다. 본 연구에 참여한 연구대상은 경북 G, P시에 위치한 어린이집에 재원중인 만 3∼5세 유아와 연구에 참여하는 유아의 아버지 각각 286명이다. 본 연구는 2021년 12월 13일부터 2022년 2월 11일까지 유아의 놀이성 측정과 적응정도는 담임교사가 알아보았고, 아버지의 양육참여도는 유아의 아버지가 자신의 양육참여도를 측정하였다. 연구결과는 다음과 같이 나타났다. 첫째, 아버지의 양육참여도와 유아의 놀이성과 어린이집 적응은 통계적으로 유의미한 정적 상관관계를 보였다. 둘째, 아버지의 양육참여도는 유아의 놀이성 및 놀이성의 하위요인 주도적 참여, 인지적 융통성, 즐거움의 표현, 자발적 몰입에 긍정적 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 마지막으로 아버지의 양육참여도는 유아의 어린이집 적응 및 어린이집 적응의 하위요인 친사회성, 기관에서의 정서상태, 또래간의 상호작용, 자아상태, 일과에 대한 적응에 긍정적 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 결론적으로 아버지의 양육참여도는 유아의 놀이성 및 어린이집 적응에 중요한 변인임을 교육적으로 시사하고 있다.

The purpose of this study was to examine the effect of a father's participation in childcare on children's playfulness and adaptation to daycare. The subjects who participated in this study were 286 children aged 3 to 5 years old attending daycare centers located in G and P cities in Gyeongsangbuk-do, and the fathers of the children participating in this study. In this study, from December 13, 2021 to February 11, 2022, the homeroom teacher measured the children's playfulness and degree of adaptation, and the father of the child who participated in this study measured his level of participation in parenting. The research results were as follows. First, there was a statistically significant positive correlation between the father's child-rearing participation and the infant's playability and adaptation to the daycare center. Second, the father's participation in parenting was found to have a positive effect on the child's playfulness and its sub-factors: proactive participation, cognitive flexibility, expression of enjoyment, and voluntary immersion. Lastly, the father's participation in childcare was found to have a positive effect on the infant's adaptation to the daycare center and its sub-factors: prosociality, emotional state at the institution, interaction between peers, ego state, and adaptation to routine. In conclusion, it is educationally suggested that the father's participation in childcare is an important variable in children's playfulness and adaptation to daycare.
