국내 학술지에 나타난 유아 정서지능 관련 연구의 경향분석

An Analysis of the Research Trend of Theses about Young Children's Emotional Intelligence in Korean journals

본 연구는 유아 정서지능 관련 국내 학술지 논문의 연구경향을 분석하고 앞으로 나아가야 할 연구의 방향을 제시하는 데 목적이 있다. 논문의 분석대상은 한국연구재단의 등재 및 등재후보지에 수록된 유아 정서지능 관련 논문 123편이다. 주요 연구결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 유아 정서지능 관련 논문의 수는 2003년 이후 점차 증가하고 있는 가운데, 연구주제는 유아 정서지능 관련 변인 연구, 교육활동을 통한 정서지능의 효과, 정서지능의 측정, 정서지능의 의미의 순으로 나타났다. 둘째, 연구주제를 좀 더 상세히 살펴보고자 하위범주로 분류하여 분석한 결과, ‘정서지능 관련 변인’ 연구에서는 정서지능과 유아변인과의 관계를 다룬 연구가 가장 많았으며, ‘교육활동을 통한 정서지능의 효과’ 연구에서는 표현생활과 관련된 연구가 가장 많은 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 유아 정서지능 관련 논문의 연구유형은 상관연구가, 자료수집 방법은 검사를 활용한 연구가, 그리고 자료분석 방법으로는 차이 검증을 적용한 연구가 가장 많은 것으로 나타났다.

This study investigates the research trend in young children's emotional intelligence-related papers in Korean journals and makes suggestions for future research. The subject consisted of 123 papers in KCI and KCI-candidated journals. The main results were as follows. Firstly, the themes in the papers were, in order of frequency, "research of young children's emotional intelligence-related variables", "effect analysis of emotional intelligence through educational activity", "measurement of emotional intelligence", and "the meaning of emotional intelligence", while the number of the papers has gradually increased since 2003. Secondly, further analysis of the sub-themes of the papers shows that the papers dealing with young children's emotional intelligence-related variables were mainly focused on young children's variables, and it also show that effect analysis of emotional intelligence through educational activity was focused on expressive life area. Thirdly, the major research type was correlational research, the popular data collection method was tests, and the data analysis was mostly performed by difference verification.
