유아교사의 디지털 리터러시 진단 및 관련 변인

A Study on the Assessment of Digital Literacy in Kindergarten Teacher and the Related Variables

본 연구의 목적은 유아교사의 디지털 리터러시를 진단해보고 관련 변인들 간의 인과관계를 구체적으로 규명해보고자 한 것이다. 유아교사의 디지털 리터러시는 정보 리터러시 점수가 가장 높았으며 그 다음 컴퓨터 리터러시, 지식 리터러시의 순으로 나타났다. 유아교사 대부분이 실제 수행능력 보다 자신의 능력을 더 낮게 평가하는 경향이 있었으며, 유아학습지도를 위한 자료검색과 활용에 있어 강점을 보였고, 교수-학습을 위한 응용프로그램에 대한 교육과 전문성 개발을 위한 지식 리터러시의 습득이 요구되는 것으로 나타났다. 유아교사의 디지털 리터러시를 예측할 수 있는 변인으로 유아교육기관의 정보 인프라의 영향력이 가장 크며 그 다음 인터넷 사용횟수로 나타나 유아교육기관에서 다양한 매체를 갖춘 교수-학습환경의 지원은 교사의 디지털 리터러시 향상에 매우 중요함을 시사하고 있다. 공분산구조분석 결과, 디지털 리터러시의 결과변인으로는 컴퓨터 교수효능감, 임파워먼트, 직무성과 순으로 직접적인 영향력이 나타남으로써 유아교사의 디지털 리터러시 함양을 위해서는 일회성의 연수에 그칠 것이 아니라, 유아교육기관의 정보 인프라 지원이 매우 중요한 기반이 되며 이를 통해 교사의 컴퓨터 교수효능감 및 임파워먼트 향상뿐만 아니라 나아가 유아교육기관의 조직성과에도 많은 영향을 미치게 됨을 알 수 있다.

The purpose of this study was to assess the digital literacy on kindergarten Teacher and to examine the reciprocal effects between the related variables. Kindergarten Teacher were found to score the highest in information literacy, followed by computer literacy and knowledge literacy. The majority of the kindergarten teacher were found to be assessing their own abilities lower than the actual performance, showing strength in searching and application of information in child education and teaching, and education in application programs for teaching and learning and acquisition of knowledge literacy for development of expertise was found to be needed. Also, the influence of information infrastructure and the amount of internet usage as the two main predictors of digital literacy in kindergarten teachers, in declining order, suggested that the provision of teaching and learning environment with a variety of media is of great importance to the improvement of kindergarten teacher’s digital literacy. In the case of effect variables, computer teaching efficacy, empowerment, and job performance were found to have direct effect, in declining order, which suggested that in the acquisition of digital literacy in childhood educators provision of information infrastructure in childhood education institutions, beyond trainings of one-time nature, is a very important basis for such acquisitions, and has various effects on not only the improvement of educators’ teaching efficacy and empowerment, but on the organizational performance of the institution as well.
