유치원-가정연계 언어활동이 부모의 언어교육 태도에 미치는 영향

The effects of the kindergarten-home links language activities on parents' attitude toward language education

본 연구는 유치원-가정연계 언어활동이 부모의 언어교육 태도에 미치는 영향을 알아보고 이를 경험하며 부모가 인식한 변화를 분석하는 데 목적이 있다. 이를 위해 경기도에 위치한 D유치원 만 5세 두 학급의 부모를 실험집단과 통제집단으로 구성하고 14주간 유치원-가정연계활동을 실시하였다. 연구결과를 살펴보면 첫째, 유치원-가정연계 언어활동은 부모의 언어교육 태도에 긍정적인 영향을 미쳤다. 특히 부모의 언어교육에 대한 효능감을 향상시키는 데 효과적이었다. 둘째, 유치원-가정연계 언어활동을 경험하며 부모가 인식한 변화에 대해 살펴보면, 놀이를 통한 언어교육의 가치를 인식하고 기존의 교육방식에 대한 반성이 이루어지며 언어교육에 대한 이해가 변화되었다. 또한 부모는 본 연구의 활동을 통해 자녀의 현재 수준과 능력에 대한 이해의 변화, 가족 현상의 변화, 유치원 교육에 대한 관심과 이해의 변화를 인식하였다.

This study was to investigate the effects of the kindergarten-home links language activities on parents' attitude toward language education quantitatively and to analyze the changes that parents recognized qualitatively. The samples were 62 five-year-old children's parents at ‘D’ kindergarten in Guri, Gyeonggi-do. In order to achieve this purpose, the researcher developed the 14 weeks kindergarten-home links language activities based on the balanced approach and implemented these activities between 2010/04/12 and 2010/07/18. The results of this study are as follows: 1. The post-test result showed that there was a significant statistical difference between experimental group and comparative group in the score of parents' attitude toward language education. 2. The changes that parents recognized through these activities were the changes of understanding of language education, understanding of children's developmental level, phenomenon of family, and understanding of kindergarten program.
