5세 누리과정 교사용 지도서에 제시된 그림책에 나타난 보살핌의 내용

‘Caring' in Picture-books in Nuri-curriculum for 5-year-old Children in Korea

본 연구는 5세 누리과정 교사용 지도서에 제시된 그림책에 나타난 보살핌의 내용이 생활주제별로 어떻게 분포되어 있는지, 그리고 보살핌의 주체와 구체적 내용을 분석하는데 그 목적이 있다. 본 연구의 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 5세 누리과정에 제시되어 있는 그림책에는 친밀한 사람에 대한 보살핌의 내용이 가장 많이 표현되어 있었고, 생활주제별로는 ‘나와 가족’과 ‘환경과 생활’의 주제에 제시된 그림책에 보살핌 관련 내용이 가장 많이 표현되어 있었다. 둘째, 5세 누리과정 교사용 지도서에 제시된 그림책에 나타난 보살핌의 주체로는 인간이 등장인물인 경우, 아동과 성인이 거의 비슷하게 보살핌의 주체로 등장하고 있었으나 동물과 초자연물 등을 함께 고려할 때는 성인이 아동에 비하여 보살핌의 주체로 등장하는 경우가 더 많은 것으로 나타났고, 여성과 남성이 거의 비슷한 정도로 보살핌의 주체로 등장하고 있었다. 마지막으로 본 연구에서는 5세 누리과정에 제시되어 있는 그림책들 중 대표적인 그림책에 나타나 있는 자신, 친밀한 사람, 낯선 사람과 멀리 있는 사람, 동식물 및 지구, 인간이 만든 도구와 이념 등에 관한 보살핌의 내용을 분석하였다.

The purpose of this study is to examine the meaning of ‘caring' in picture-books presented in Nuri-curriculum for 5-year-old children in Korea by analyzing how 'caring' is portrayed in different curriculum units, who the ‘care' providers are, and the contents of 'caring.' The results of this study are as follows: First, the most portrayed ‘caring' behaviors were in close relationships among parents, friends, family members and in the curriculum units of ‘family and me' and 'environment and everyday lives' in Nuri-curriculum. Second, both children and adults were equally portrayed as ‘care' providers in picture-books with human characters, but adults were more frequently portrayed as ‘care' providers compared to children in picture books with human-, animal-, and neutral-characters. Also, female and male characters were both equally portrayed as ‘care' providers in picture-books. Third, different contents of ‘caring' such as ‘caring' for self, for friends and family, for non-acquaintances and people at a distance that are in need, for animals, plants, and earth, and for tools and ideas created by human in picture-books in Nuri-curriculum for 5-year-old children in Korea were analyzed.
