지역대학의 유아교육관련학과 중심 지역교육지원청 관내 유치원 컨설팅 모형 개발과 적용

Development and Application of Consulting Model for District Kindergartens by the Department of Early Childhood Education

본 연구는 지역대학의 유아교육관련학과가 중심이 되어 지역교육지원청 관내 유치원을 대상으로 시행하는 컨설팅 모형을 개발하고, 컨설팅 모형을 적용하는 과정에서 교사들이 겪는 경험을 분석하여, 유치원의 질적 수준 향상을 도모하기 위한 기초 자료를 제공하기 위해 수행되었다. 이를 위해 전국 16개 시ㆍ도에서 한 개씩의 지역교육지원청을 선정하여 현재 지역교육지원청을 중심으로 시행하고 있는 유치원 컨설팅 제도를 분석한 후, 그 분석 결과에 기초하여 지역대학의 유아교육관련학과가 중심이 되는 유치원 컨설팅 모형을 개발하였다. 이렇게 개발된 지역대학 유아교육관련학과가 중심이 되는 유치원 컨설팅 모형을 두 개 유치원에 6개월간 적용한 결과를 분석하여 보다 개선된 유치원 컨설팅 모형을 제시하였으며, 현재 지역교육지원청이 시행하고 있는 유치원 컨설팅 제도와 보완적으로 시행하는 개선 방안을 제언하였다.

The purpose of this study was to develop and apply a consulting model for district kindergartens by the Department of Early Childhood Education and to verify how it is efficient. In this study, 2011 year consulting plans of 16 district offices of education were collected and analyzed. A consulting model for district kindergartens by the Department of Early Childhood Education was developed and applied to A, B kindergarten which was composed of 5～6 classes. The data was collected by videography, reflective journals of participants and researchers and participant observation. The teachers of A, B kindergarten were very satisfied with a consulting model for district kindergartens by the Department of Early Childhood Education, because the model has several strengths, such as freedom of choice, good consultants of high quality and a long term of consulting.
