생태비평(ecocriticism)의 관점으로 그림책『달 샤베트』읽기

Reading the themes of 『Dal Sherbet』: An ecocriticism perspective

본 연구는 생태비평의 관점을 바탕으로 하여 그림책『달 샤베트』를 분석하고 그에 따른 교육적 함의를 발견하는데 그 목적이 있다. 연구 결과, 『달 샤베트』는 첫째, ‘관계성이 부재한 현대인의 주거 문화’, 둘째, ‘평범한 사람들로부터 시작되는 복원’, 셋째, ‘생명체 간 관계성의 자각: 상생으로 가는 길’이라는 의미를 전달하고 있었다. 이와 같은 특정의 비평적 접근은 문학작품을 심도 있게 보게 해 주는 장치가 될 수 있으므로 유아교육현장에서 다양한 관점으로 문학작품을 비평할 기회가 필요하며, 인간중심적이 아닌 생태중심적인 입장이 더욱 견지되어야 할 것으로 보인다.

Using an ecocriticism perspective, this study explored the picturebook 『Dal Sherbet』. Findings from this study, 『Dal Sherbet』 reveals ‘the modern residential culture lacking in relationship’, ‘the restoration starting from commonplace people’, and ‘the awareness of the relationship between organism and organism: the way to live together in harmony.’ Ecocriticism is very imperative tool to view that children's literature be related to environmental problems and the interconnection between nature and human. Therefore, it is necessary to review children's literature in the classrooms by the various perspectives and by the eco-focused stance. From the perspective of the ecocriticism that is aimed at the restoration of relations between nature and human, 『Dal Sherbet』 deals with the themes well.
