영유아 어머니의 북스타트 프로그램에 관한 인식

The Perception of Infant and Young Children' Mother about Bookstart Program

본 연구는 사회적 육아지원정책의 하나인 북스타트 프로그램에 참여한 영유아기 자녀의 어머니들이 북스타트 프로그램 경험을 어떻게 인식하는지 조사함으로써 북스타트 운동을 확대 보급할 토대를 마련함과 동시에 영유아 및 양육자를 위한 공공도서관의 서비스와 교육프로그램 운영을 개선하는데 그 목적이 있다. 북스타트 프로그램에 관한 어머니의 인식과 북스타트 프로그램 참여조건을 파악하기 위하여 문헌분석 및 전문가와의 협의를 통해 개발된 설문지는 총20문항으로 구성되어 있으며 신뢰도는 .93으로 나타났다. 연구대상은 충청남도 C시의 만1세 미만부터 취학 전 영유아를 위한 북스타트 프로그램에 참여한 영유아의 어머니 107명이었으며, 수집된 자료는 ANOVA, t-검정, Chi검정 및 Duncan 검정(사후검정)을 통하여 분석되었다. 연구결과 북스타트 프로그램에 참여한 영유아의 어머니들은 북스타트 프로그램이 영유아, 어머니 자신 및 가정에서의 책과 관련한 활동에 미치는 영향 등에 관한 인식과 프로그램 참여조건에 대하여 배경변인에 따라 부분적으로 의미 있는 차이를 보여주었다.

This study is to examine the perception of mothers about Bookstart Program as a social support system. The purpose of this study was to expand Bookstart Program and change the services of library for infant and young children. For this research, questionnaire was to the developed through a perception research, related precedent studies on Bookstart and a discussion with Bookstrar expert. The completed questionnaire had 20 items and it' confidence is .93. The participants of were 107 mothers who participant in Bookstart program and the library located in C city. The data collected from the research was analyzed by ANOVA, t-test, Chi test and a Duncan was conducted to examine the posttest. The result showed that the young children, mothers and a home activity related to book through Bookstart program were partly significantly difference by the variable.
