유아용 애니메이션에 나타난 리더십 분석

An analysis of leadership portrayed in young children's animations

본 연구는 유아용 애니메이션 속에 나타난 리더와 리더십의 특징을 살펴보기 위해, 2007년 1월부터 4월까지 방송된 총 30편의 애니메이션을 분석하였다. 연구 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 애니메이션 속의 리더들은 ‘협력적 문제 해결’을 하는 유형이 ‘개별적 문제 해결’을 하는 유형보다 많았으며, ‘군집적 문제해결’을 하는 유형도 있었다. 둘째, 애니메이션 속 리더들의 연령은 모두 아동이며, 혼성인 경우가 가장 많았다. 셋째, 애니메이션 속 리더들은 공유적 리더십을 보여주는 경우가 가장 많은 것으로 나타났다. 마지막으로, 애니메이션에 등장하는 리더들은 ‘모험과 도전을 하는 리더’, ‘전문성과 정보력을 지닌 리더’, ‘의사소통으로 문제를 해결하는 리더’, ‘동료들을 동기화하는 리더’, ‘마법을 사용해 다른 인물들을 지원하는 리더’, ‘호기심은 많지만 실수투성이인 리더’의 특징을 갖는 것으로 나타났다.

This study examines the traits of leader and leadership portrayed in animations for young children. In order to study, thirty animations that have been on the air from January to April, 2009 are collected and analyzed. The findings of this study are as follows. First, the leaders in animation have tendency to solve some problems more cooperatively than individually. Second, the leaders in animation have tendency to be young children and the mixed. Third, the leaders in animation have tendency to use ‘the shared leadership skill'. Finally, the traits of the leaders in animation are those: ‘adventurous leaders', ‘expert leaders', ‘leaders with communicative competence', ‘leaders who motivate their followers', ‘leaders who support their followers by magic', and ‘leaders who are full of curiosity but trouble-maker'.
