한국의 그림책 발전

The history of Development for Korean Picture Books

본 연구는 한국 그림책의 형성을 역사적으로 살펴보고자 하였다. 근대 이전 한국 그림책을 살펴보는 것을 시작으로 개화기～1960년 이전 : 그림책 맹아기, 1960년～1978년 : 그림책 도입기, 1979년～1980년대 말 : 그림책 형성기, 1990년대～현재 : 창작 그림책 정착기 등 다섯 시기로 구분하여 시기별 한국 그림책의 형성과정을 검토하였으며, 동시에 이를 둘러싼 사회적 배경을 언급함으로써 사회 역사적 산물로서의 그림책을 조명하였다. 또한 이를 통해 한국 그림책의 미래를 전망하고자 하였다.

The purpose of this study is to look into the process of formation of Korean picture books historically. In this study, the process of it is divided into five periods; from opening to before 1960, the period of darkness; 1960 to 1978, the period of the introduction; 1979 to the end of 1980, the period of formation; 1990 to the present time, the period of settlement of Korean picture books. And at the same time, by mentioning social environment surrounded with picture books, each period is examined and Korean picture books are considered as social and historic results. Also we will see the future of Korean picture books through this study.
