산책을 통한 미술활동에 나타난 영아의 경험 탐색

Analysis of Infants’ Experience Shown in Arts Activities through Outdoor Walking

본 연구는 산책을 통한 미술활동에 나타난 영아의 경험을 탐색한 연구이다. 이를 위해 산책을 통한 미술활동을 구성하였으며, 경기도에 소재한 어린이집의 영아 7명을 대상으로 11주 동안 실시하였다. 자료는 관찰일지, 반성적 저널, 영아의 미술작품, 포트폴리오, 사진을 수집하였으며, 질적 분석을 하였다. 자료 분석 결과 산책을 통한 미술활동 과정에 나타난 영아의 경험 중 표현 경험의 특징으로는 다양한 색을 사용한 난화, 주제표현을 위한 이야기의 시작으로 분석되었다. 영아 경험의 또 다른 특징인 참여 경험의 특징은 자유로운 활동의 참여, 독립적인 참여의 모습으로 나타났다. 이와 같이 산책을 통한 미술활동은 영아에게 직접 체험하고, 경험할 수 있는 기회를 제공하여 자유롭고 자발적인 참여 속에서 미술표현에 긍정적인 변화를 돕는 교수방법이 될 수 있을 것이라 기대된다.

In this paper, we investigate infants’ experience shown in art activities through walking. We composed art activities through walking and conducted a survey of seven infants during 11 weeks in a local child care center. We conducted a qualitative analysis after gathering daily observation logs, reflective journals, the infants' works of art, portfolios, and pictures. The results from this study came out that characteristic of infants’ representation experience revealed during art activity through walking involves a form of storytelling using a variety of colors and story beginning for subject expression. In addition, the features such as free and independent activity participation appear. Thus, art activity through walking provides the opportunity to experience firsthand in free and voluntary participation and is expected to be a valuable teaching method to bring a positive change in art expression.
