누리과정 ‘예술경험’ 영역에서의 적용을 위한 그림책 분석

Picture book analysis for the adoption of the field of ‘art activity’ to the Nuri curriculum

본 연구는 만 3-5세 누리 과정에서 ‘예술경험’ 영역의 교육적 적용을 위한 기초 연구로서 ‘예술경험’ 영역에서 적용 가능한 그림책을 분석하고자 하였다. 이를 위해 ‘예술경험’ 영역에서 적용 가능한 그림책을 63권 선정하고, 그 그림책들이 누리 과정에서 어떻게 적용될 수 있는지 살펴보기 위해 누리과정의 생활 주제별, ‘예술경험’의 내용별 분석을 실시하였으며, 각 그림책에 ‘예술경험’ 영역과 관련된 내용들이 나타났는지를 구체적으로 분석하였다. 분석한 결과, 첫째, 생활 주제 중 ‘동식물과 자연’을 주제로 한 그림책이 가장 많았고, ‘교통기관’을 주제로 한 그림책이 가장 적었다. 둘째,‘예술경험’ 영역 중 ‘통합적으로 표현하기’는 대부분의 그림책에서 나타난 반면, ‘전통예술 감상하기’가 표현된 그림책은 가장 적었다. 셋째, 1권을 제외한 전체 그림책들이 최소 2가지 이상의 ‘예술경험’ 내용을 포함하고 있었다. 본 연구는 교육현장에서 생활 주제에 따라 누리과정 ‘예술경험’ 영역의 활동을 진행할 때, 예술 관련 그림책을 어떻게 활용할 수 있는지에 대한 기초적인 정보를 제공하는데 의의가 있다고 하겠다.

This study examined the educational adoption of the field of ‘art activity' to the Nuri curriculum and designed a picturebook analysis for the field of art activity. To this end, a detailed analysis was done to determine the daily life-based themes of the Nuri curriculum and the contents of art activities in 63 picture-books. Moreover, the contents of each picture book representing the field of art activity were analyzed. First of all, from the results, most of the picture books largest proportion had ‘animals and plants and, nature' as their theme among the daily life-based themes. However, transportation facilities as a theme had the least amount of appearances in the picturebooks. Second, while integration represented among the art activites was seen in most of the picture-books, the picturebooks that included ‘appreciating traditional art' had the smallest proportion among all the contents. Third, most of the picture books except for one had at least two kinds of ‘art activites'. This study is meaningful because it provides detailed information on how to use art-related picture books when conducting activities in the field of ‘art activity' in the Nuri curriculum according to daily life-based themes from an actual educational site.
