1세 영아의 그림책 읽기 과정에 나타난 개인적 내러티브 사례 연구

A case study on a one-year-old infant's personal narrative during picture book reading

본 연구는 1세 영아가 그림책 읽기 과정에서 나타낸 개인적 내러티브의 특징 및 의미를 알아보 기 위한 목적을 가지고 가정어린이집에 재원하고 있는 15개월 남아에 대한 단일 사례 연구이다. 연 구 결과는 첫째, 1세 영아의 개인적 내러티브의 형식은 몇 개의 한 단어 말, 몸짓, 그림으로 구성되 었다. 둘째, 1세 영아의 개인적 내러티브의 말과 몸짓의 의미는 과거 삶의 경험과 연결되어 있었다. 셋째, 1세 영아는 개인적 내러티브의 의미를 전달하기 위해 다양한 의사소통 행동을 끊임없이 시도 하였으며 구체적으로는 응시하고 웃으며 지속적 관심 표현하기, 다양한 음성어와 몸짓으로 의미어 표현하기, 갈등과 저항 행동하기, 상호텍스트 읽기로 의미어 확장 적용하기, 의미어를 인정받은 후 편안해지기 등이다. 연구의 시사점은 첫째, 1세 영아도 자신의 존재와 의지를 드러내고자 다양하고 끊임없이 시도한다는 사실을 이해하게 된다. 둘째, 1세 영아의 개인적 내러티브의 출현에 자극제가 된 것은 그림책 읽기 과정에 나타난 그림 정보와 교사와의 지속적인 의사소통 기회였다.

The objective of this research was to gain an understanding of the features and meanings of a personal narrative that a one-year-old infant shows during picture book reading. The subject was a 15-month-old boy in Home-Based Child Care. The results of the research are as follows. The personal narrative of the one-year-old infant consisted of a few single words, gestures, and pictures. Next, the meanings of the words and gestures of the one-year-old infant's personal narrative were connected to his experiences in the past. Lastly, the one-year-old infant tried various communicative actions continuously to convey his personal narrative. These actions were to express continual interest while staring and smiling, to express meaningful words through different voices and gestures, to take actions of conflict and resistance, to extend his application of meaningful words by mutual text reading, and to feel comfortable after his meaningful words were recognized. The research results suggests several points. Even a one-year-old infant tries continuous and various ways to express their existence and will. In addition, the picture information and continuous communication with the teacher stimulate the personal narrative of the one-year-old infant.
