유아의 실외놀이 참여전략에 대한 탐구

The Study for Children's Play Participation Strategy in an Outdoor Area

본 연구는 유아의 놀이참여 전략을 알아보기 위한 목적으로 실외 모래놀이 영역에서의 유아들의 행동을 관찰하여 놀이맥락 속에서 유아들이 사용하는 놀이참여를 위한 전략적 행동들을 살펴보고자 하였다. 이를 위하여 25회의 참여 관찰을 통해 유아의 모래놀이를 관찰하였다. 연구결과 첫째, 유아들은 친구들의 놀이에 가입하기 위하여 배회하며 관찰하기, 관심 표현을 통한 동조적 메시지 전달하기, 적절한 도움주기, 놀이참여에 대한 허락구하기 및 또래의 의도에 따라 전략 수정하기 등의 방법을 사용하는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 유아들은 자신의 놀이에 또래 유아가 참여할 수 있도록 하기 위하여 직접적으로 놀이 제안하거나 역할을 부여하고 때로는 도움을 요청하였으며 상황의 극대화를 통한 또래의 주의끌기 등의 전략을 사용하였다.

The purpose of this study is to observe children's behaviors in order to check children's play-participation-strategies in an outdoor sand play area. This study is to observe not only how peer participation appears outside, but also children's strategic behaviors for joining together with other children through the play. For this study, children's sand play was observed many times, totaling 25 observations. First, the results show that 1) children walk around and observe in order to join other children's play, 2) children deliver syntonic messages through expressing their interest in the play, 3) children help the play by giving suggestions and knowledge, 4) children get permission to join the play, and 5) children revise strategies according to their peers' intentions. Second, the results show children's various behaviors in order for peers to participate in their play: children directly offer other children to join their play, give them a role, ask for help, or use strategies to obtain peer attention through maximizing the situation.
