스토리텔링을 적용한 노래부르기 활동이 유아의 언어표현력 및 음악적 태도에 미치는 영향

The Effects of Singing Activities with Storytelling on Young Children's Language Expression Ability and Musical Attitude

본 연구의 목적은 스토리텔링을 적용한 노래부르기 활동이 유아의 언어표현력 및 음악적 태도에 미치는 영향을 살펴보고자 하였다. 연구대상은 G시의 Y, U초등학교병설유치원의 만 5세 유아 30명이었다. 실험집단은 스토리텔링을 적용한 노래부르기 활동을 실시하였으며 비교집단은 일반적인 노래부르기 활동을 실시하였다. ‘언어표현력’과 ‘음악적 태도’ 검사 도구를 사용하여 연구 자료를 수집하였으며, t-검증을 통해 실험처치의 효과를 분석하였다. 연구결과 스토리텔링을 적용한 노래부르기 활동은 유아들의 ‘언어표현력’과 ‘음악적 태도’를 향상시키는데 긍정적인 효과를 가져왔다. 특히 ‘언어표현력’의 하위 요소인 ‘문장 수’, ‘내용의 일치’, ‘내용의 연계’, ‘창의적 표현’에서 실험집단이 비교집단보다 의미 있는 향상이 있었다. 또한 ‘음악적 태도’의 하위 요소인 ‘적극성’, ‘주의집중’, ‘표현력’, ‘흥미’에서 실험집단이 비교집단보다 의미 있는 향상이 있었다.

The purpose of this study was to examine the effects of singing activities with storytelling on young children's language expression ability and musical attitude. The subjects were 30 five year old young children in the annexed kindergarten to Y elementary school and U elementary school in G city. The experimental group did singing activities with storytelling and the comparative group took part in general singing activities. ‘The language expression ability test’ and ‘The musical attitude test’ were used in collection of the data. The results showed that the experimental group significantly outdid the comparative group in language expression ability and musical attitude. Especially, the experimental group showed statistically significant differences in the ‘number of sentences’, ‘agreement of contents', ‘connection of contents', ‘creative expression' of language expression ability and the ‘active participation’, ‘concentration', ‘expression', ‘interest’ of musical attitude.
