2022 개정 음악과 교육과정을 반영한능동적 감상 지도방안: 초등학교 3-4학년을 중심으로

Active Listening Instructional Strategies Reflecting the 2022 Revised Music Curriculum: Focused 3rd and 4th Grade Elementary Students

본 연구는 2022 개정 음악과 교육과정을 기반으로 능동적 감상 활동의 의미와 방향성을 탐구하고, 학교 음악 수업에서 활용할 수 있는 지도방안을 개발하는 것이 목적이다. 이를 위해 음악 감상의 교육적 의미를 고찰하고 감상 영역의 변천 과정과 선행연구를 살펴보았다. 문헌 연구를 통해 기존 감상의 문제점을 살펴보고 능동적 음악 감상 활동을 할 수 있는 5단계 교수학습모형을 개발하였다. 이 모형을 활용하여 초등학교 3~4학년 대상의 5차시 감상 지도방안을 제안하였으며, 지도안에서는 청각뿐만 아니라 신체의 다양한 감각을 활용하여 학습자의 흥미와 창의성을 증진시키는 데 중점을 두었다. 본 연구는 기존의 수동적 감상 지도의 한계를 극복하고 학습자 중심의 주체적이고 창의적인 감상 활동을 제시했다는 데에 의미가 있다. 음악을 지식적으로만 이해하는 것이 아니라 다채로운 활동을 통해 타인과 음악적으로 소통하고 자신만의 의미가 있는 고유한 음악 체험을 제공하는 방식은 음악교육의 질적 향상을 뜻한다. 본 연구는 스스로 음악을 탐색하며 일상에서 음악의 요소를 발견하게 하게하므로 능동적 문화 시민의 일원으로 성장시키는 발판이 될 것이다.

This study aims to explore the meaning and direction of active listening activities based on the 2022 Revised Music Curriculum, and to develop instructional strategies that can be utilized in school music classes. To achieve this, the study examines the educational significance of music appreciation, the evolution of the appreciation domain, and prior research. By reviewing existing literature, the study identifies issues with traditional listening methods and develops a five-stage teaching-learning model for active music listening activities. Using this model, a five-session instructional plan for 3rd and 4th-grade elementary students is proposed. The plan emphasizes not only auditory perception but also the use of various bodily senses to enhance learners' interest and creativity. This study is significant in that it overcomes the limitations of passive listening instruction and presents a learner-centered, proactive, and creative approach to music appreciation. Providing musical experiences that are not just intellectually understood but also involve diverse activities for communicating with others musically and creating unique personal meanings signifies a qualitative improvement in music education. This study will serve as a stepping stone for students to grow into active cultural citizens by allowing them to explore music on their own and discover elements of music in their daily lives.
