그림책에 나타난 공동체문화 양상 연구

A Study of the Aspects of Community Culture Found in Picture Books

본 연구는 그림책에서 공동체 문화가 어떠한 양상으로 나타나는지 살펴보는 데 그 목적이 있다. 이를 위해 공동체 문화가 나타난 그림책 11권을 분석대상으로 최종 선정하여 분석하였다. 분석 결과, 그림책에 나타난 공동체 문화의 양상은 음식문화를 통한 공동체적 정체성의 재확인, 놀이문화를 통한 공동체 소속감 및 결속감의 고양, 마을문화를 통한 공동목표의 실현, 축제문화를 통한 집단적 소통과 신뢰구축으로 드러났다. 이러한 결과를 바탕으로 본 연구에서는 공동체적 삶과 공동체문화에 대해 보다 구체적으로 살펴보면서, 유아들로 하여금 공동체의 의미와 공동체 구성원으로서의 존재와 자각, 참여와 소통을 비롯한 공동체적 가치관을 인식하고 내면화함으로써 향후 보다 바람직한 삶을 영위해 나갈 수 있도록 하는 방안들의 필요성에 대해 논의하였다.

The purpose of this study was to investigate the aspects of community culture found in picture books. For this purpose, this study finally selected and analyzed 11 picture books in which community culture is depicted. As a result, the aspects of community culture could be classified into ‘reassuring identity as community through food culture’, ‘raising the sense of belonging to and cohesion with community through play culture’, ‘achieving common goals by means of village culture’ and ‘establishing group communication and confidence through festive culture’. Based on this finding, this study more profoundly examined the life and culture of community. And the study discussed the need to create ways in which young people become aware of themselves as community members, recognize and internalize the values of community through participation and communication and, resultantly, can have more desirable lives in the future.
