어린이 전자그림책의 교육적·문학적 의미

Educational and Literary Meaning of Children’s Picture e-Book for tablet PC

본 연구는 최근 어린이를 위해 개발되고 있는 전자 그림책의 현황을 살펴보고, 그 교육적, 문학적 의미를 살펴보기 위한 문헌 연구이다. 선행연구를 통해 전자 그림책이 어린이의 창의성, 공간능력, 문제해결력, 언어 발달에 지닌 교육적 의미를 살펴보고, 앱 주도적인 어린이로 키우기 위해 전자 그림책을 능동적이고 창의적으로 활용하는 성인들의 교육적 지원이 필요함을 밝혔다. 그리고 전자 그림책을 디지털 문학으로서 바라볼 것과 우수한 전자그림책을 선정하고 제작하도록 도움을 주기 위한 기준들을 제시하였다.

The purpose of this study was to explore the trends of children’s picture e-books for tablet PC by literature review, and suggests some educational and literary implications. Based on literature review, this study explores how the Picture e-books has some potential impact on children’s creativity, space perception ability, problem solving ability, and language development. Adults’ educational support and purposive utilization of digital media were required in order to bring children up to active app user, and it is thought that children’s picture e-books have several negative effects on children’s development and creativity. Secondly, picture e-book should be identified with the digital literature. Thirdly, some criteria for selecting and producing good picture e-books were proposed.
