환상동화를 통한 그림 그리기 활동이 유아의 창의성 및 정서지능에 미치는 효과

Effects of Picture Drawing about Fantasy Fairy Taleson the Creativity and Emotional Intelligence of Preschoolers

본 연구의 목적은 환상동화를 통한 그림그리기 활동이 유아의 창의성과 정서지능에 미치는 효과를 알아보기 위함이다. 본 연구는 B시에 위치한 D유치원 만 4세 54명(실험집단: 27명, 비교집단: 27명)을 연구대상으로 하였으며, 연구도구는 전경원(2002)의 유아 창의성 검사도구와 이병래(1997)의 유아 정서지능 체크리스트를 사용하였다. 본 연구를 위해 수집된 자료는 SPSS 19.0을 이용하여 독립표본 t-test, 공분산분석(ANCOVA)을 실시하였다. 이에 따른 연구결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 환상동화를 통한 그림 그리기 활동은 유아 창의성에 유의한 차이가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 환상동화를 통한 그림 그리기 활동은 유아의 정서지능에 유의한 차이가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 또한 정서지능의 하위요소인 자기조절능력, 타인인식능력, 타인조절·대인관계능력은 유의한 차이가 있는 것으로 나타났으나 자기인식·표현능력은 유의한 차이가 나타나지 않았다.

The purpose of this study was to examine the effects of picture drawing about fantasy fairy tales on the creativity and emotional intelligence of preschoolers. The subjects in this study were 54 preschoolers in a kindergarten located in the city of B. They were the Western age of four. An experimental group and a control group were organized with 27 students each. The instruments used in this study were Jeon Kyung-won(2002)'s Preschooler Creativity Inventory and Lee Byung-rae(1997)'s Preschooler Emotional Intelligence Checklist. The collected data were analyzed by a statistical package SPSS 19.0, and independent-samples t-test and ANCOVA were utilized. The findings of the study were as follows: First, the picture drawing activities about fairy tales made significant differences tothe creativity of the preschoolers. Second, the picture drawing activities about fairy tales made significant differences to the emotional intelligence of thepreschoolers. And there were significant differences in self-regulation, awareness of others, and regulation of others/interpersonal skills, which were the subfactors of emotional intelligence, but no significant differences were found in self-awareness/ xpressiveness.
