문학반응 활성화를 위한 그림책 읽기 교수 모형 개발 연구

A study on the Development Teaching Model of Reading Picture Books for Literature Response Activation

본 연구는 유아의 문학반응 활성화를 위한 그림책 읽기 교수 모형을 개발하고 효과를 검증하였다. 이를 위해 첫째, 그림책 읽기 교수 목적 및 목표를 설정하고 교수 원리를 도출하였다. 또한 교육 내용 및 교육 방법을 선정하였으며 교실 현장에 적용할 수 있도록 그림책 읽기 교수 모형, 즉 그림 훑어보기-페라텍스트 읽기-글과 그림 읽기-공동 의미 구성하기 단계를 각각 구성하였다. 둘째, 문학반응 활성화를 위한 그림책 읽기 교수 효과를 검증하였다. 만 5세 유아 46명을 대상으로 하여 실험집단과 통제집단으로 구분하고, 실험집단에는 교수 모형을 적용한 교육계획안을 기반으로 하여 그림책 읽기를 수행하였으며 통제집단은 일반적 그림책 읽기 활동을 진행하였다. 처치는 그림책 12권을 12주 동안 주 3회 읽어주었으며, 그림책 12권을 읽어주는 순서는 두 집단이 동일하였다. 연구결과 교수 모형에 따른 그림책 읽기는 유아의 분석적 반응, 상호 텍스트적 반응, 개인적 반응, 투영적 수행적 반응 향상에 효과가 있는 것으로 밝혀졌다. 본 연구는 문학반응 활성화를 위한 그림책 읽기 교수의 중요성을 강조하며, 유아 그림책 읽기 교수관련 후속 연구를 위한 기초가 되고자 한다.

This study developed teaching model of reading picture books for children’s activation of response to literature and verified the model. First, we set a goal of teaching of reading picture book, and deducted a principle of teaching model. Also, we selected the content and means of education and organized each phase of picture book teaching model-looking through pictures, reading paratext, reading words and pictures, and coconstructing meaning. Second, we verified teaching model of reading picture book for activation of response to literature. 46 children participated in the study. They were randomly assigned to experiment group and control group. Experiment group performed picture book reading based on the teaching model, and control group performed normal picture book reading activity. Participants were read twelve picture books, three times a week, for twelve weeks. The sequence of the books were same for both groups. The results show that picture book reading following the teaching model is effective for improving children’s analytical response, intertextual response, personal response, transparent response and performative response. We concluded that teaching model of reading picture books developed by this study has an effect on activation of children’s response to literature. This study emphasizes the importance of teaching model of reading picture books for activation of response to literature, and becomes a foundation for follow-up studies of picture book reading teaching for children.
