음악과 공동교육과정 운영 교사들의 수업 경험 및 실행 특성에 대한 탐색 - 대전광역시의 사례를 중심으로 -

A Search for Experiential Characteristics of the Management Teacher of Joint Music Curriculum: A Case Study of Daejeon

본 연구는 대전광역시의 음악과 공동교육과정 운영 교사들을 대상으로 공동교육과정에 대한 인식, 학습자 특성 및 수업 설계 방법, 장점과 개선점, 교육적 의미를 탐색함으로써, 음악과 공동교육과정의 실행 특성을 이해하고 개선 방향을 제안하는 것을 목적으로 한다. 교사들은 수업에 대한 만족감과 시간적 부담을 함께 가지고 있었으며, 이들에게는 높은 수준의 교육과정 재구성, 교수 전문성, 진로 지도 역량이 요구되었다. 수강 학생들은 주로 비전공학생들로, 전공 가능성을 탐색 중인 학생과 음악 활동을 취미를 가진 학생들로 이루어져 있었다. 음악과 공동교육과정은 공교육 중심의 음악 심화 프로그램이라는 중요한 역할을 하고 있었으나, 학교 간 교류 방식으로 인한 문제점도 발생하였다. 또한, 고교학점제가 전면 실시된 후에도 현재의 수준과 규모 내에서 운영될 것이라 예측되었다. 연구 결과를 바탕으로 근무 시간 내 수업 운영 확대, 지원센터 및 우수 거점시설 운영, 심화 강좌 개설 지원, 교사 전문성 향상 지원 체계 구축, 이동 거리를 고려한 권역 설정의 필요성을 제안하였다.

The purpose of this study is to understand the implementation characteristics of the joint music curriculum of Daejeon and to suggest directions for improvement by exploring teachers' perceptions of the curriculum, learner characteristics, instructional design methods, strengths and improvements of the joint curriculum, and its educational significance. The teachers expressed both satisfaction and time burden through the classes, and they were expected to demonstrate a high level of competency in curriculum restructuring, teaching professionalism, and career guidance. The students enrolled in the course were primarily non-majors, consisting of those exploring the possibility of majoring in music and others who pursued music as a hobby. Although the joint curriculum played an important role as an in-depth music program within public education, issues arose due to the method of inter-school exchange. It was predicted that the program would continue to operate at its current level and scale even after the full implementation of the high school credit system. Based on the research results, this study suggests expanding class operations within working hours, establishing support centers and excellent hub facilities, supporting the development of advanced courses, creating systems to enhance teacher professionalism, and designating regions considering travel distances.
