예비유아교사의 팀 학습 활동의 어려움과 해결방안 모색

Difficulties of Pre-service Early Childhood Education Teachers in Early during Small Group Team Learning Activities and Desirable Solutions for Them

본 연구는 예비유아교사들이 팀 학습 활동을 하면서 겪게 되는 어려움과 좋게 생각하는 점 그리고 이러한 어려움을 해결하고 바람직한 방안을 구축하기 위해서는 어떻게 해야 할지를 모색하기 위한 것이다. 이를 위해 전라도에 소재한 G대학 아동학과 2학년 예비유아교사 10명과 총 8회기 동안 주 1회, 40분 동안의 면담이 진행되었다. 연구결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 예비유아교사들이 겪는 팀 학습 활동의 어려움은 ‘모임의 어려움으로 인한 대체방법에의 의존’, ‘갈등으로 인한 스트레스 발생’, ‘발표 부담감의 증가’, 그리고 ‘제한적인 학습의 기회’로 나타났고, 한편으론 팀 학습 활동의 장점은 ‘다양한 아이디어의 창출’, ‘부족한 부분의 보완 및 능력계발’, 그리고 ‘자신감의 획득’으로 나타났다. 둘째, 팀 학습 활동의 어려움을 극복하고 보다 바람직한 방향으로 계발되기 위한 방안으로는 ‘적절한 팀 구성을 위한 고려’, ‘직접 만나 함께 하기의 중요성 인식’, ‘갈등에의 대처’, 그리고 ‘공정한 평가를 위한 노력’으로 나타났다. 본 연구는 팀 학습 활동을 이끌어가는 교수자들의 이해를 넓히고 바람직한 방안을 마련하는데 기여하게 될 것이다.

The aim of this study is to examine what kinds of hardships and useful experiences pre-service teachers in Early Childhood Education are experiencing while they participate in small group team learning activities, and to find out desirable ways to do these activities. To complete this purpose, ten G university pre-service teachers in early childhood education were interviewed 8 times for around 40 minutes per unit. The results were as follows: First, the difficulties of small group team learning activities students were 'relying on substitute ways because of suffering from having a gathering', 'being stressed in accordance with opinion collision or conflict, 'increasing the burden of an official announcement', and 'limited learning opportunities'. Meanwhile, the strong points of these activities were 'producing a variety of ideas', 'making up for the incomplete parts or developing competence', and 'acquiring confidence.' Second, the desirable ways for better team activities were 'considering appropriate team organization', 'recognizing the importance of direct gatherings and collaborative efforts', 'handling conflicts' and 'laboring for fair evaluation.' This study could be helpful for professors to learn what is the appropriate method of learning small group team learning activities.
