국내 초등학교 스토리텔링 수학교육 연구 현황 분석을 통한 유아수학교육에서의 연구방향 탐색

An Analysis of the Status of the Storytelling Math Eduction Studies in Domestic Primary Schools to Explore Direction of Early Childhood Math Education

본 연구는 국내 초등학교 스토리텔링 수학교육 연구의 동향을 분석함으로써 스토리텔링 유아수학교육의 연구방향을 제시하고자 한다. 연구를 위해 국내 학위 · 학술지 논문 전체 중에서 초등을 대상으로 한 스토리텔링 수학교육 연구 39편을 대상으로 연구 시기, 연구방법, 연구대상, 연구내용, 교육효과성을 분석하였다. 연구결과 국내 초등 스토리텔링 수학교육 연구는 2013년부터 급격히 증가하였으며, 양적연구, 문헌연구, 질적연구, 혼합연구 순으로 수행되었음을 알 수 있었다. 연구대상은 일반아동, 교사, 특수아동 순으로 수행되었으며 연구의 내용은 이론·내용 분석, 효과 분석, 프로그램 개발, 실태·인식 순으로 이루어진 것으로 나타났다. 또한 스토리텔링과 수학적 태도, 학업성취도와의 관계가 가장 많이 연구되었음을 알 수 있었다. 이를 통해 스토리텔링 유아수학교육의 개념과 기존의 교수-학습 방법과의 차이점에 대한 문헌적 고찰은 물론 교사의 인식과 요구 등에 대한 기초 연구의 필요성을 도출할 수 있었다. 또한 현재 개발된 프로그램의 현장 적용을 통한 효과 분석, 유아 발달에 적합한 스토리 검증, 수학교육 내용영역에 따른 스토리텔링 교수-학습 방법의 적절성 검토, 지속적이고 상시적인 연수방법 개발의 필요성이 제기 됨을 알 수 있다.

The purpose of this study was to explore the direction of research on early childhood storytelling math education by analyzing the storytelling math education studies in domestic primary schools. To this end, 39 previous storytellig math education in domestic primary schools were analyzed; study period, research method, object of study, research content, and effectiveness of education. The results showed that: First, storytelling math education studies in domestic primary schools rapidly increased from 2013. Second, research methods included quantitative research, literature research, qualitative research and mixed research in that order. Third, objects of the study included normal children, teachers, children with special needs in that order. Fourth, research contents were conducted in the following order effective analysis, theory.contents analysis, program development, status.recognition. Fifth, as a result of the analysis of 13 papers verifying the effectiveness of storytelling mathematics education, we find the most studied factors are the relationships between storytelling and mathematical attitudes, and between storytelling and academic achievement.
