교사의 음악교육에 대한 지식과 음악교육에 대한 태도의 수준 및 유아의 음악적 성향 간의 관계

The Relationships Between the Levels of Teacher’s Musical Knowledge and Attitude and Young Children’s Musical Tendency

본 연구는 교사의 음악교육에 대한 지식과 태도의 수준 및 유아의 음악적 성향 간의 관계를 알아보고자 하였다. 이를 위해 교사의 음악교육에 대한 지식과 태도의 수준에 따른 유아의 음악적 성향의 차이를 살펴보고, 교사의 음악교육에 대한 지식과 태도가 유아의 음악적 성향에 미치는 영향을 살펴보았다. 본 연구는 3～5세 유아 161명과 담임교사 27명을 대상으로 하여 자료를 수집하고, PASW 18.0을 사용하여 독립적 t검증, 적률상관계수 분석과 회귀분석을 실시하였다. 연구결과는 첫째, 교사의 음악교육에 대한 지식과 태도의 수준이 상집단인 유아의 음악적 성향이 하집단의 유아보다 유의하게 높게 나타났다. 둘째, 유아의 음악적 성향은 교사의 음악교육에 대한 지식 및 태도와 유의한 정적 상관관계가 나타났다. 셋째, 교사의 음악교육에 대한 지식과 음악교육에 대한 태도는 유아의 음악적 성향에 유의한 영향력을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 이러한 결과를 통해 유아의 음악적 성향 발달의 중요한 변인으로서 교사의 음악교육에 대한 지식과 태도 신장에 효과적인 다양한 예비·현직교사교육프로그램을 적용하는 방안을 모색하여야 할 것이다.

The purpose of this study was to examine the relationships between the levels of a teacher’s musical knowledge and musical attitude and young children’s musical tendency. So it was to examine the difference in young children’s musical tendency according to the levels of a teacher’s musical knowledge and attitude. And it was to examine the effect of the levels of a teacher’s musical knowledge and attitude on young children’s musical tendency. The subjects for this study were 161 children and 27 teachers in three-to-five year old classes. The 27 teachers were classified high and low levels by musical knowledge and attitude. Data were analyzed by Pearson’s Correlation, t-test and Regression with PASW 18.0. The results were (1) The higher the levels of the teacher’s musical knowledge and attitude, the higher the children’s musical tendency’s score. (2) There were positive relationships between the levels of teacher’s musical knowledge and attitude and children’s musical tendency. (3) Teacher’s musical knowledge and attitude were positively affected children’s musical tendency. So educational researchers should discover ways to improve teacher’s musical knowledge and attitude.
