어린이집 정보공시제에 대한 보육교사의 인식 및 요구

A Study of Teacher's Perceptions and Needs for a Child Care Center Information Disclosure System

본 연구의 목적은 현재 시행단계에 있는 어린이집·유치원 통합정보공시제(‘14년 11월 시행)의 활성화와 안정화를 위해 기존에 시행되고 있던 어린이집 정보공시제를 경험해 본 보육교직원의 인식 및 요구에 대해 알아보고 주요 쟁점들을 체계적으로 검토하여 이후 어린이집·유치원 통합정보공시제의 활성화를 위한 기초자료를 제공하는데 있다. 본 연구의 대상은 B시에 소재한 어린이집에 재직하고 있는 원장 및 교사 279명을 대상으로 설문지를 이용하여 연구를 진행하였다. 연구결과, 어린이집 정보공시제의 역할과 기능, 공시항목에 대해 보통 이상으로 이해하는 것으로 나타났으며 일반적 배경(연령, 경력, 최종학력, 직책)에 따라 유의미한 차이가 나타났다. 교사의 어려움과 문제점 측면에서는 “교사의 업무량 증가”가 가장 높게 나타났으며, 요구 및 기대에서는 어린이집에 대한 정보가 접근이 용이하고 이해하기 쉬운 형태로 제공되어야 한다는 요구가 가장 높게 나타났으며, 기대에서는 정보공시제를 통해 어린이집을 효율적이고 투명하게 운영할 수 있는 계기가 되어 학부모에게 어린이집을 보다 정확하게 선택할 수 있는 기회제공을 할 것이라는 기대가 가장 높게 나타났다. 이러한 연구의 결과를 통해 어린이집 현장에 종사하고 있는 교사들의 정보공시제에 대한 의견을 반영하여 어린이집 정보공시제가 보다 활성화되고 효율적으로 활용할 수 있도록 하는 데에 유용한 정보를 제공할 것이다.

The purpose of this study is to provide a basis for utilizing an Information Disclosure System for child care center·kindergarten by investigating teachers' awareness and needs who have experience using of the existing Information Disclosure System and systematically checking major issues for invigorating and stabilizing the system enforced from Nov. 2014. The number of subjects of this study is 279 which consist of directors and teachers in child care centers in B city. The findings are as follows: First of all, the results show the of teachers' understanding about the system the introduction and purpose of Information Disclosure System is the level of 'know', and their understanding of the role and function of the system and the disclosure items are represented as 'common' with statistically significant differences among cohorts(age, experiences, schooling, and position). Second, the results show, regarding teachers' difficulties and problems about the system "an increase in quantity of work for teachers" ranks the highest. Third, according to the consequence of examination on teachers' demands and expectations, the highest need is that the information about a child care center should be provided in accessible form, Since the system pushes teachers to operate the center efficiently and transparently, it might give a chance to parents who want a child care center which is most suitable for their child. Through these results, this study may help Information Disclosure System to prosper and to be efficiently utilized by reflecting the opinion of teachers who now work in the field.
