이야기할머니 활동이 유아의 인성과 노인에 대한인식에 미치는 영향

A Study on the Influence of Grandmothers Storytelling Activity on Children's Personality and their Perception of the Elderly

본 연구는 세대통합프로그램의 일환인 이야기할머니 활동이 유아의 인성과 노인에 대한 인식에 어떤 영향을 주는지 그 효과를 살펴보는 것에 목적을 두고 있다. 연구 목적을 위하여 G시의 어린이집 만5세아 50명씩 총 100명을 실험집단과 비교집단으로 구성하였으며, 실험집단을 대상으로 8주간 이야기할머니 활동을 수행하였다. 연구결과 이야기할머니 활동을 통해 유아의 인성, 노인에 대한 인식 모두에서 통계적으로 유의미한 차이가 나타났다. 이로서 이야기할머니 활동이 유아의 인성과 노인에 대한인식에 긍정적인 영향을 준 것을 알 수 있었다. 이상의 연구결과를 통해 세대통합프로그램에 대한 관심과 실행확대의 필요성 및 유아교육기관에서 유아들이 노인세대와 지속적이고 정기적으로 유의미한만남의 장 제공의 필요성을 제기하는 바이다.

The purpose of this study was to investigate the influence of Grandmothers' Storytelling activity on children's personality and their perception of the elderly. The subjects of this study were 100 children five years of age from two classes from day-care centers located in Gimhae city. Fifty children from A, B, and C day-care centers were assigned to the experimental group while Fifty children from D, and E day-care centers were assigned to the control group. The Grandmothers' storytelling-activity was done for eight weeks. The results of the analysis showed that the children's personality and their perception of the elderly were positively influenced. Based on questionnaire on the effect of Grandmothers' storytelling-activity, it was found that there was a significant difference in the interaction between the two groups. Thus, Grandmothers' storytelling-activity was positively influenced the children's personality and their perception of elderly.
