음악개념에 기초한 유아음악교육 프로그램이 유아의 음악적 인지능력과 음악적 표현능력에 미치는 영향

The Effects of an Early Childhood Music Education Program Based on Musical Concepts for the Early Musical Recognition and Expression Abilities of Children

본 연구는 음악개념에 기초한 유아음악교육 프로그램이 유아의 음악적 인지능력과 음악적 표현능력에 어떠한 영향을 미치는지 알아보는 데 목적이 있다. 이를 위해 음악개념과 음악교육에 대한 문헌고찰 및 선행연구 분석을 토대로 음악개념에 기초한 유아음악교육 프로그램을 개발하였다. 유아기는 음악적 능력 발달의 결정적 시기이며 유아의 음악적 능력은 음악개념을 이해하도록 돕고 이해한 음악개념을 능동적으로 표현할 수 있는 음악교육을 통하여 증진된다는 연구를 고려해 볼 때 음악개념에 기초한 유아음악교육 프로그램 개발은 중요하다고 할 수 있다. 구성된 프로그램은 만 5세 유아에게 12주간 총 24차시를 적용하였으며 유아의 음악적 인지능력과 음악적 표현능력 척도를 사용하여 프로그램의 효과를 검증하였다. 그 결과 본 연구에서 개발한 음악개념에 기초한 유아음악교육 프로그램이 유아의 음악적 인지능력과 음악적 표현능력 발달에 효과적임을 알 수 있었다. 이에 본 연구에서 개발한 음악개념에 기초한 유아음악교육 프로그램은 유아교육현장에서 음악개념이 음악교육에 활용될 수있는 이론적 근거를 제공할 뿐 아니라 음악개념에 내재된 교육적 가치를 기초로 한 음악교육 프로그램으로 적용 가능함을 시사한다.

The purpose of this study was to examine what effects an early childhood music education program based on musical concepts had on the early musical recognition and expression abilities of children. To this end, an early childhood music education program based on musical concepts was developed through a literature review and analysis of previous studies. Early childhood is considered a critical period of musical skill development, which helps young children understand musical concepts as well as express them actively, and can be developed and promoted through music education according to research. Therefore, the development of an early childhood music education program based on musical concepts could be important. An organized program was given to 5-year-old children for a total of 24 times over 12 weeks to verify the effects of this program measuring the musical recognition and musical expression abilities of young children's ability. Based on the analysis results, the early childhood music education program based on musical concepts developed in this study was effective in the development of musical recognition and musical expression abilities in young children. Thus, this study suggests that the early childhood music education program developed in this study could be used in music education and applicable to music education programs based on the educational value inherent in musical concepts.
