유아사회교육 대학교재의 실제편 활동 분석

An Analysis of Activities in the Social Studies Textbooks for Pre-Service Early Childhood Teachers

본 연구의 목적은 예비유아교사를 대상으로 한 유아사회교육 대학교재에 수록된 실제편 활동을 분석하는 것이다. 이를 위해 2013년부터 2015년까지 출간 및 개정된 8개 교재에 수록된 439개의 활동을 활동목표, 교육내용, 교수학습방법의 분석기준에 따라 분류하고, 빈도분석을 통해 그 결과를 산출하였다. 본 연구의 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 목표 분석 결과 지식-태도-기능 순으로 빈도가 높게 나타났다. 둘째, 내용 분석 결과 누리과정 사회관계 영역에서는 사회에 관심 갖기가, 사회교육내용에 있어서는 사회·정서발달 내용 중 성인·또래 상호작용 관련 내용이 가장 많은 비중을 차지하고 있었다. 셋째, 교수학습방법 분석 결과, 생활주제는 유치원과 친구가 가장 높은 비중을 차지하고 있었으며, 활동유형에서는 대·소집단 활동 중 이야기 나누기가, 활동자료는 사진·그림·PPT가 가장 많은 것으로 나타났다. 이상의 결과를 토대로 통합교육과정 실행을 위한 대학교재 실제편 구성에 대해 논의하고 교사용 교재개발을 위한 시사점을 제시하였다.

The purpose of this study was to analyze the social studies activities in university textbooks used by pre-service early childhood teachers for teaching and studying social studies education. To achieve the aim of this research, 439 practical activities were collected from 8 Nuri-curriculum-reflected social studies textbooks published between 2013 and 2015. The analysis of all the activities examined the domain of the objectives, educational contents, type of activities and, teaching materials. The results are as follows: First, in a survey on the goal of the activities, Knowledge-Attitude-Skill were the most common responses in the order named. Second, in terms of the Nuri-curriculum, ‘interest in society’ comprised the largest proportion of all activities. Additionally, there were more activities related to social/emotional development in the category for ‘adults/peer interaction’. Third, for the frequency of life themes in the activities based on the Nuri-curriculum, ‘Kindergarten and Friend’ had the highest frequency. And story sharing activities in large and small group activities were the largest proportion for the social educational activity type. Moreover, in terms of teaching materials, pictures, paintings, and PPTs were used the most. Based on the results, this study discussed the current limitations of the social studied textbooks and future directions for research on structuring practical activities.
