유아교사의 정서노동 관련 연구동향 분석

An Analysis of Research Trends related to Emotional Labor of Early Childhood Teachers

본 연구의 목적은 유아교사의 정서노동과 관련하여 국내 최초로 연구 보고된 2003년 이래 2016년까지의 연구동향을 분석함으로써, 향후 정서노동 연구의 방향성을 제시하고, 유아교사를 위한 정서관리 프로그램 개발에 필요한 기초 자료를 구하는 데 있다. 최근 14년간 국회도서관 전자목록과 한국교육학술정보원(RISS)에 수록된 유아교사 정서노동 관련 논문 총 90편을 연구대상으로 하여 각각 연구연도, 연구방법, 연구내용 등이 분류, 분석되었다. 분석 결과, 유아교사의 정서노동은 최근 사회적 관심을 반영한 연구주제로서 2014년 이후 집중적으로 연구되고 있으며, 설문지를 통한 양적 연구가 주된 연구방법 유형인 것으로 확인되었다. 연구내용으로는 개인, 조직, 직무, 교사 전문성 등 4 범주 하에, 정서능력/자기이해 등 개인 관련 요인, 직무평가/근무환경 등 직무 관련 요인, 그리고 영유아 교육을 담당하는 교사 전문성 관련 요인 등과 관련된 내용이 가장 활발하게 연구되고 있었다. 추후 정서노동에 대한 유아교사의 인식과 경험을 다층적으로 탐색하기 위한 질적 연구와 유아교사의 정서 관리를 위한 실제적인 프로그램 개발이 요구된다.

The aim of this study was to suggest directions for future studies regarding emotional labor and to provide basic materials required for the development of programs on emotion management oriented to early childhood teachers, by analyzing research trends starting from the first paper on the emotional labor of early childhood teachers in 2003 up to papers published in 2016. A total of 90 theses related to the emotional labor of early childhood teachers listed in the digital catalog of National Assembly Library and RISS (Research Information Sharing Service) during the last 14 years were classified and analyzed respectively by period of research, research method and research contents. According to the analysis, the results show that the emotional labor of early childhood teachers, as a research subject reflecting recent social interest, has been intensively studied since 2014, and the main research method is based on quantitative research through questionnaire survey. As for research contents, under the 4 categories of individual, organization, duty (job) and teacher professionalism, the studies have been actively conducted on individual-related factors such as emotional capacity and self-understanding, duty-related factors such as job evaluation and working environment, and factors relevant to the professionalism of early education teachers. We provide suggestions for future studies; it is necessary to carry out qualitative research to multi-directionally investigate the awareness and experiences of early childhood teachers regarding emotional labor, and to develop practical programs for emotion management of early childhood teachers.
