생태미디어를 활용한 극놀이 활동에서 나타난 유아의 사회정서능력의 변화

The Social Emotional Competence Change of Children according to Dramatic Play Activities using Ecological Media

본 연구는 생태미디어를 활용한 극놀이 활동에 따른 만 4세 유아의 사회정서능력 변화를 분석하여 유아사회정서교육을 위한 기초자료를 지원하는데 그 목적이 있다. 이를 위해 생태미디어를 활용한 극놀이 활동을 총 18회기 개발하여 9주간 1주에 2회씩 만4세반 25명에게 적용하였다. 연구 자료는 참여관찰과 평가 후 면담, 심층면담, 전화통화 및 이 메일 교신, 그리고 교사저널, 연구일지 등을 통해 수집되었다. 수집된 자료는 질적 자료 분석인 귀납적 분석을 실시하였다. 본 연구의 결과는 만 4세 유아의 사회정서능력 변화는 자아개념, 사회적 능력(성인상호작용, 또래상호작용, 규범인식), 정서적 능력(정서조절, 정서인식 및 표현)에 따라 사회정서능력의 변화가 다르게 나타났다. 즉 이는 생태미디어를 활용한 극놀이는 유아의 사회정서능력 함양을 시킬 수 있는 활동이며 유아교육기관에서 유아의 사회정서의 실제와 실천적 자료가 될 수 있다고 볼 수 있다.

The aim of this study was to analyze the social emotional changes-of 4-year-old children brought about by dramatic-playing activities using ecological media. To this end, activities using ecological media were developed and used with 25 children 18 times (twice a week for nine weeks). Research materials were collected through participation observations and post evaluation interviews, in-depth interviews, telephone calls and e-mail communication as well as, teacher journals and research journals. The data collected in this study were analyzed by inductive analysis of qualitative data. The results of this study show that the social emotional changes of 4-year-old children were different according to self-concept, social competency_(adult interaction, peer interaction, and norm recognition) emotional competency_(emotional recognition and expression, and emotional regulation) skill, and sensibility. These results, show that dramatic play using ecological media can bring about social emotional competence. This study suggests dramatic play using ecological media could be used as practical activities at infant education institutions to help develop children's social emotional competence.
