영아 아버지의 상호작용이 영아발달에 미치는 영향

The Effect of Infant Father’s Interaction on Infant development

본 연구는 영아 아버지의 상호작용이 영아발달에 미치는 영향력에 대해 알아보고자 하였다. 연구대상은 서울과 경기도 지역에 거주하는 영아기 자녀를 둔 아버지와 영아 56쌍이며, 영아-아버지 간 상호작용하는 모습을 관찰하고, 발달 선별검사(K-DST)를 실시하였다. 자료 분석은 SPSS 21을 활용하여, 기술통계, Cronbach’s ɑ, 상관분석, 중다회귀분석을 실시하였다. 연구결과의 주요점은 다음과 같다. 첫째, 영아 아버지는 상호작용에서 지지하기 전략을 주로 사용하였다. 둘째, 영아 아버지의 지지하기 전략은 영아의 인지, 사회성, 자조발달에 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 영아 아버지의 명명하기 전략은 영아의 인지발달에 부적으로 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 이러한 결과를 바탕으로 영아 아버지의 상호작용 유형의 중요성에 대해 논의하였다.

The aim of this study was to investigate whether infant father’s interactions are related to infant development. The subjects were 56 pairs of infant-fathers in Seoul, Gyeonggi-area. The interactions between the infants and their fathers were observed, and K-DST developmental screening was performed. Data were analyzed using SPSS 21, descriptive statistics, Cronbach’s a, correlation analysis, and multiple regression analysis. The main points of this study are as follows. First, the infant-father interaction was used as a strategy to focus the attention of the infant. Second, infant father’s support of the infant’s focus of attention affects infant's cognition, sociality, and self-help development. Third, language inputs(naming, asking question) have negative effects on cognitive development. We discussed the importance of the quality aspects of the infant father's interactions based on these results.
