음악활용 동작교육활동 적용과정에 나타난 만 2세 영아의 반응 탐색

A Study on the Response of 2-Year-Old Toddlers in the Application Process of the Movement Education Activities using Music

본 연구는 동작과 밀접한 관련이 있는 음악을 활용한 영아 대상의 동작교육활동을 개발하고 이를 적용하는 과정에 나타난 만 2세 영아의 반응을 탐색하고자 하였다. 음악활용 동작교육활동을 개발하기 위하여 문헌분석과 요구분석을 실시하였으며, 동작교육 전문가 및 현장교사와의 협의를 진행하였다. 이를 통해 20회기의 활동안을 개발하였고 개발된 동작교육활동을 만 2세 영아 14명에게 12주간 실시하였다. 연구결과 음악활용 동작교육활동에 참여한 영아들은 음악활용 동작교육활동 적용과정에서 속도, 박, 리듬패턴, 강세의 리듬요소에 맞춰 다양한 유형의 동작활동을 경험함으로써 비이동운동, 이동운동, 조작적 운동을 포함한 기본운동능력이 향상되는 모습이 나타났다. 또한 영아들은 음악활용 동작교육활동 적용과정에서 혼자 그리고 함께 동작활동을 경험함으로써 기본정서 및 사회적 행동, 자아개념, 자기조절, 사회적 관계를 포함한 사회정서영역의 발달이 이루어졌다. 이러한 결과는 음악활용 동작교육활동은 영아의 기본운동능력과 사회정서발달을 증진시키는데 적절한 동작교육활동이며, 영아에게 의미 있고 효과적인 동작교육활동으로 현장에서 활용될 수 있음을 시사한다.

The purpose of this study was to investigate the behavior of 2-year-old toddlers in the process of developing and applying movement education for toddlers using music which is closely related to movement. To develop ‘the movement education activities using music.’ literature analysis and needs analysis were carried out. Additionally, the researchers also conducted consultations with the movement education specialists and field teachers. Through this process, we developed 20 activity plans. The developed ‘movement education activities using music.’ was applied to 2-year-old toddlers (14 children) for 12 weeks. As a result, the 2-year-old toddlers who experienced various types of basic movements during ‘the movement education activities using music.’ showed that their basic movement ability including non-locomotor movement, locomotor movement and manipulative movement improved. Moreover, the 2-year-old toddlers showed improvement in social emotional development including basic emotional, social behavior, self–concept, self-regulation, and social relations in the process of applying ‘the movement education activities using music.’ In conclusion, the movement education activities using music for 2-year-olds developed in this study was effective in improving 2-year-old toddlers" fundamental motor ability and social-emotional development. The results of this study can provide the rationale and implications of movement education activities using music for 2-year-olds to be used as an effective teaching-learning method during infancy.
