그림책을 활용한 역할놀이가 만 2세 영아의 정서지능과 친사회적 행동에 미치는 영향

The Effect of Role Playing Using Picture books on Emotional Intelligence and Pro-social Behavior of Two-year-old Toddlers

본 연구는 그림책을 활용한 역할놀이가 만 2세 영아의 정서지능과 친사회적 행동에 어떠한 영향을 미치는지 알아보고자 하였다. 경기도에 있는 어린이집 만 2세 영아 28명을 대상으로 그림책을 활용한 역할놀이에 참여하지 않은 통제집단과 역할놀이를 실시한 실험집단으로 나누어 실험집단에게 주 2회씩 8주 동안 총 16회의 그림책을 활용한 역할놀이를 실시하였다. 연구결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 그림책을 활용한 역할놀이에 참여한 실험집단이 통제집단보다 정서 지능 전체와 하위요소인 자기정서의 인식과 표현, 감정조절과 충동억제 및 자기정서의 이용, 타인 정서의 인식과 배려, 대인관계기술-성인과 대인관계기술-또래에서 통계적으로 모두 유의미한 차이를 보였다. 둘째, 그림책을 활용한 역할놀이에 참여한 실험집단이 통제집단에 비해 친사회적 행동 전체와 하위요소인 사회생활 기본능력과 기관적응능력, 친구관계다루기와 감정다루기, 비공격적으로 대처하는 것과 스트레스 다루기에서 통계적으로 모두 유의미한 차이를 보였다. 이러한 결과를 통해 그림책을 활용한 역할놀이는 만 2세 영아의 정서지능과 친사회적 행동에 긍정적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다.

The purpose of this study was to identify the effects of role playing using picture books on emotional intelligence and pro-social behavior of two-year-old toddlers. A total of 16 sessions were held twice a week for 8 weeks for 28 two-year-old toddlers attending child care in Gyeonggi-do. They were divided into control groups that did not participate in role playing and experimental groups that participated in role playing using picture books. The research results are as follows. First, the experimental group that participated in play with role playing using picture books showed significant differences in overall emotional intelligence and subfactors including recognition and expression of self emotions and emotional control and impulse suppression, the use of self emotion and recognition and consideration of others' emotions, interpersonal relations skills- interpersonal relations skills adult/peers when compared to the control group. Second, the experimental group who participated in the role play using picture books showed significant differences in overall pro-social behavior and subfactors including basic social skills and institutional adaptability, dealing with friendships and feelings, coping with non-aggressiveness and stress when compared the control group. Therefore, the results of this study indicated that role playing using picture books have a positive effect on the development of emotional intelligence and pro-social behavior of two-year-old toddlers.
