시그림책에서 내포독자의 구성 양상 고찰

The Construction Aspect of Implied Readers in Poetry Picture Books

본 연구는 시그림책의 시텍스트와 그림텍스트에 나타난 내포독자의 구성 양상을 분석함으로써 시그림책 창작과정에서 작가가 어떻게 내포독자를 가정하는지 밝히는 것을 목적으로 한다. 이를 위해 시 작가에 의해 이미 창작된 동시를 바탕으로 그림책을 창작한 시그림책 11권을 분석하였다. 연구결과 첫째, 시그림책의 시텍스트에 나타난 내포독자의 구성 양상은 자연에 통합된 주체의 형성, 삶의 내적 성찰을 유발하는 체험, ‘있어야 할 세계’의 구현, 믿을 만한 화자의 선택, 공감적 소통을 위한 시적 표현 등으로 나타났다. 둘째, 동시로부터 시그림책의 변환과정에서 나타난 내포독자의 구성 양상은 문학적 소통과 파라텍스트의 변화, 시적 목소리의 묘사와 맥락화, 언어적 은유의 시각적 표상, 시각적 스타일의 추가, 감정이입을 위한 시점의 변화와 클로즈업, 인트라아이코닉 기법의 사용 등으로 나타났다. 본 연구는 시그림책 창작과정에서 어린이로서의 내포독자를 이해하고 내포독자 구성의 본질을 탐구하는데 그 의의가 있다.

The purpose of this study was to explore the construction aspect of implied readers by analyzing poetry text as well as poetry illustration. The subject of this study included 11 poetry picture books illustrated based on poetry already published. The results of the study are as follows: the implied readers in original poetry text are constructed with formation of subject integrated into nature, life experiences inducing inner reflection, representation of ‘the world to be in’, choice of reliable addressers, and poetic voices for empathic communication. The illustrations transform the original poems in many ways. The implied readers are constructed in the transformation process from poetry text into poetry picture books with literary communication and paratexts, description and contextualization of poetic voices, visual representation of poetic metaphors, adding visual styles, changing viewpoint and closeup, and use of intraiconic technique. The results of this study suggest that text is constructed to help implied readers as children to understand and interpret text code of poetry picture books.
