자연물을 이용한 오감활동이 만 2세 영아의 사회정서발달과 공격성에 미치는 영향

The Influences of Activities Using Five Senses with a Natural Object on Socio-emotional Development and Aggression of 2-year-old Toddlers

본 연구의 목적은 자연물을 이용한 오감활동이 만 2세 영아의 사회정서발달 및 공격성에 미치는 영향을 알아보는 것이다. 이를 위하여 강원도에 소재한 W시의 M어린이집과 인근에 위치한 H어린이집의 만 2세 영아들로 각각 14명의 영아를 실험집단과 비교집단으로 구성하여 자연물을 이용한 오감놀이활동을개발한후적용효과를알아보았다. 자연물을이용한오감활동연구과정은관련문헌탐구, 자연물을 이용한 오감놀이 활동 개발, 전문가 자문, 예비검사, 검사자 훈련 및 교사교육, 사전검사, 실험처치, 사후검사, 자료처리 및 결과분석 순으로 진행하였다. 김호인(2010)의 사회정서척도와 한미옥(2000)의 연구에서 사용된 공격행동 관찰검사 도구를 사용하여 연구 자료를 수집하고, 수집된 자료는 SPSS 24.0 통계프로그램을 이용하여 공변량 분석(ANCOVA)을 실시하였다. 자연물을 이용한 오감활동을실시한 후, 실험집단과 비교집단 간의 사회정서발달과공격성에 미치는영향을 알아본 결과 실험집단의 영아들이 비교집단의 영아들 보다 사회정서발달 결과가 향상되었으며 공격성 점수가 완화되었다. 이는 통계적으로 유의미한 차이가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 이러한 결과는 자연물을 이용한 오감활동이 영아의 사회정서발달과 공격성에 긍정적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 볼 수 있다.

The aim of this study was to determine the influences of activities using five senses with a natural object on socio-emotional development and aggression of 2-year-old toddlers. For this, 2-year-old toddlers from M daycare center and the neighboring H daycare center in W city in Gangwon-do were selected for the experiment group (14) and the control group (14), respectively, and then, activities using five senses with a natural object were developed and the application effects were studied. For the research process about activities using five senses with a natural object, a related literature review, development of play activities using five senses with a natural object, consultations with experts, a preliminary test, training for testers and education for teachers, pre-test, experiment process, post-test, data processing, and datas analysis were conducted in order. Using the index of socio-emotional development by Kim, Ho-in (2010) and the aggressive behavior observation test tool used in Han, Mii-ok (2000), research data were collected and the data were analyzed by ANCOVA with the SPSS 24.0 package. As a result of determining the influences of the activities on socio-emotional development and aggression between the experiment group and the control group after conducting activities using five senses with a natural object, the toddlers in the experiment group showed better improvement of socio-emotional development and alleviation in aggression. It showed that there were statistically significant differences. These results could be interpreted such that activities using five senses with a natural object have positive influences on toddlers' socio-emotional development and aggression.
