그림책에 나타난 집의 공간적 의미 탐색 - 국내 그림책을 중심으로 -

A Study on the Space Meaning of Houses in Picture-books

본 연구는 국내 그림책에 나타난 집의 공간적 의미를 살펴보고자 하였다. 국내 그림책에 나타난 집의 공간을 분석하기 위해 그림책 8권을 선정하고, 분석 범주에 따라 핵심 주제어를 도출하였다. 연구 결과 첫째, 그림책 속에 나타난 집의 공간은 삶이 생성되고 변모하는 공간이었다. 둘째, 집과 일터가 공존하는 공간은 공동육아가 가능했던 산업화 시대 하나의 거주 형태를 보여주기도 한다. 셋째, 그림책에 나타난 집은 탈주와 변화가 이루어지는 놀이의 장(場)으로서의 공간이다. 따라서 그림책에 나타난 ‘집’이라는 공간을 통해 유아들의 삶을 이해하는 기회가 될 것이다.

This study attempted to examine the space meaning of houses in Korean picture-books. To analyze the space of a house in Korean picture-books, 8 picture-books were selected, and key words were derived according to the analysis categories. As a result of the study, First, the space of a house that appeared in a picture-book was a space where life was created and transformed. Second, the space where the house and the workplace coexist shows a form of residence in the industrialized era when joint parenting was possible. Third, the house shown in picture-books is a space such as a play field where flight and changes take place. Therefore, it will be an opportunity to understand the lives of children through the space called “house” in picture-books.
