유아들이 만든 환상그림책에 나타난 환상적 내러티브의 우연적 요소에 관한 연구

Study on coincidental factors of fantasy narratives as shown in fantasy picture books created by children

본 연구는 유아들이 만든 환상 그림책에 나타난 환상적 내러티브에서 나타난 우연적 요소와 의미를 분석하는 것을 목적으로 하였다. 이를 위해 만 5세 유아들이 만든 13편의 환상 그림책의 내러티브를 주요 연구 자료로 활용하여 분석하였다. 연구 결과, 유아들이 만든 그림책의 환상적 내러티브에 나타난 우연적 요소로는 첫째, 초현실적 존재, 특별한 능력, 등장인물 폭로를 통한 극적 반전 속에서, 둘째, 필연성 부여, 긴장감 고조, 궁금증 유발, 위기 사건의 시작으로부터, 셋째, 시간과 공간에서, 넷째, 행복한 결말, 열린 결말에서 나타났다. 이러한 우연적 요소의 의미는 첫째, 내적 욕망을 담은 삶의 표현방식으로. 이러한 내적욕망은 ‘우연적 요소’를 통한 창조성의 발로인 것으로 둘째, 환상적 내러티브 서사의 원동력으로, 우연적 요소는 새로운 n차원으로 끊임없이 뻗어나가는 문학적 상상력의 출발점으로, 셋째, 우연적 요소는 환상성을 극대화시켜주는 요인으로, 시공간의 비틀림을 통한 현실과 환상의 경계를 허물어 독자들이 겪는 환상성의 경험을 극대화시켜 주며, 넷째, 관계에 대한 욕망의 지향과 해소로, 부재와 상실로 인해 잃어버린 것들을 회복하며 용기와 희망을 얻을 수 있는 안식처로 나타났다. 이러한 우연적 요소는 문학적 상상력의 출발점이 될 수 있다는 점에서 미래 유아문학교육이 나아가야 할 지표가 될 수 있음을 제안한다.

The purpose of this study was to analyze the contingent elements and meanings of the fantastic narratives in fantasy picture books created by children. To this end, the narratives of 13 fantasy picture books made by children aged 5 years were used as major research data and analyzed. From the results of the study, the accidental elements that appeared in the fantastic narratives of picture books made by children are as follows: first, surreal existence, and special ability, in dramatic reversal through the exposure of characters, second, giving inevitability, and increasing tension, and causing curiosity, from the beginning of a crisis event; third, time and space, and fourth, a happy ending and an open ending. The meanings of these contingent elements are as follows: First, as a way of expressing life containing inner desires, these inner desires are the expulsion of creativity through these ‘accidental elements'. Second, as the driving force of the fantastic narrative, the contingent elements are constantly expanding into the new n-dimension. Third, as a starting point of literary imagination, the accidental factor is a factor that maximizes fantasy. It breaks the boundaries between reality and fantasy through the twisting of time and space, maximizing the experience of fantasy that the readers experience. It appeared as a haven where you can gain courage and hope by recovering what was lost due to absence and loss. This contingent factor can be a starting point for literary imagination, suggesting that it can be an indicator of future early childhood literature education.
