An educational image is virtually concealed in A Thousand Plateaus, a schizophrenic and rhizomic work written by Gilles Deleuze and Felix Guattari. The researcher tries to extract the educational image that the authors, probably, had not recognized explicitly. Chapter 3 (10,000 BC: The geology of morals (Who does the earth think it is?)), chapter 8 (1874: Three novellas, or "What happened?"), chapter 6 (November 28, 1947: How do you make yourself a body without organs?), chapter 10 (1730: Becoming-intense, becoming-animal, becoming-imperceptible...), and chapter 12 (1227: Treatise on nomadology:-the war machine), these five chapters or plateaus are selected because the researcher decides, they may well present several concepts such as 'de-stratification,' 'line of flight, body without organs,' 'becoming-imperceptible' and 'war machine' to which educational images are relative. De-stratification and line of flight are the vital movement that flees the pre-established strata or assemblage. Body without organs, originally A. Artaud's concept, pre-organic body or the body that resists to become an organism is the virtual focus that conceives the transformative, de-stratifying, de-organizing force. Becoming-imperceptible or becoming-clandestine is the state of absolute de-stratification. War machine that does not necessarily have the battle as its object although battle may be its necessary result under certain conditions, is confronted with the apparatus of capture of the state. From the educational perspective, the concepts created by Deleuze and Guattari show us the image of the educational circle, so to speak, soaring-arrival-return, that reveals the dimensions of the 'educational process.' We soar up over the assemblage dominated by the segment, at last arrive at body without organs or becoming-imperceptible, and return to the assemblage with the war machine. Now, a question is raised: with what means can we make that circular movement? Deleuze and Guattari gives an answer with 'prudence' that makes us able to avoid the danger of despair and catch the clue of the imperceptible, and 'abstract machine' that makes us traverse across the plane of content and of expression. Prudence and abstract machine, the researcher thinks, consist of the dimension of 'educational methods'.
